So far he is through 7 with no earned runs and 8 strikeouts. It's MLB, pitchers don't throw no hitters every day

using jose and matt would be a tremendous waste. we have a huge lead, the odds either of them could get a save is minimal. i think randolph is the right guy out there. let's save our two flamethrowers for the gnats, if we can afford to.

btw, isn't it amazing how great things come in two for this team? starters: johnson and schilling; hitters: gonzo and hillenbrand; closers: valverde and mantei; rookies; bwebb and cintron; leadoff: counsell and kata.
