Hard to argue him over any of them. Maybe draymond, but tough to argue Ayton contributes to winning more than draymond.Ayton was ranked #14 by Bleacher Report's best bigs for the 23-24 season preview. Perhaps lower than some would like. I think that's fair considering it's not just Centers listed and overall impact is taken into account.
He ranked #54 overall in their top 100.

But you guys have been asking him to go stronger to the hole…You'd think he'd be able to do better SMH
Not sure what's happening with girlfriend he had a kid with.
This guy is stupid
You didn't really go there, did ya?But you guys have been asking him to go stronger to the hole…
I’m just happy to see Ayton working on his penetration this offseasonYou didn't really go there, did ya?
Well, ball is life.I’m just happy to see Ayton working on his penetration this offseason

I said he "appears" to have a positive attitude. I'm not in the huddle, on the bench or in the locker room so I can't go any further than that. He's big. He's healthy. He's young. HE DOES NOT HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE
Sure, he'll get you 18 and 10, but not on the nights that matter. Not in the series that matter. Because that's when his positive attitude gives way to the incredible shrinking man - with symptoms including deafness and the inability to speak
When they rank him at #14 it isn't a testament to his basketball skills or positive attitude - it's an indictment of the current talent pool in the NBA as far as bigs go
I'm still trying to chill on the Ayton bashing but it's hard when the conversations are so cyclical - lest we forget what happens in the playoffs every year - Ayton is more of a burden than a viable big
I think Ayton was the catalyst for our playoff let downs - I think his mental attitude was the precursor for the whole team(s) falling apart. I don't think he's learned anything between then and now. And as far as this domination you speak of, it tended (past tense ) to happen when the team was already playing well - because that's when he plays well - when there's no pressure - because he disappears during clutch timeI said he "appears" to have a positive attitude. And when you say "lest we forget what happens in the playoffs every year", perhaps you should heed that reminder. Like most of the team he's been disappointing the past two playoffs but he was dominant often during our earlier run to the finals and all told was probably our best player behind Booker that postseason.
I don't think he's particularly strong willed (hard headed maybe) but I also don't agree with you painting him the way you have. He often set the tone for the team early and we played well as a result of his play. Then, for whatever reason, he'd stop being a factor and we'd play poorly. He isn't the guy I'd want to take the last second clutch shot but I've seen nothing to indicate he's at the opposite end of clutch as you suggest.I think Ayton was the catalyst for our playoff let downs - I think his mental attitude was the precursor for the whole team(s) falling apart. Weak. Very weak. You're in the DA is horrible camp and that's fine but that doesn't mean the rest of us are in the DA is great camp. The vast majority of us here have real problems with DA.Ayton did the whole choke and disappear during the playoffs again, just this past May, in the playoffs - when it mattered most - and he was outplayed by Jock freakin Landale
Now he's knocking up porn stars and taking pot shots at his teammates but sure... he's magically going to do a mental 180 because Vogel can turn water into wine
Do they have the free continental breakfast in fantasy land? What time is check out?
Who here actually believes he is going to do a complete 180? Sounds like you are manipulating what people think to make a point. The vast majority of people here want to be optimistic but most are skeptical he is going to be a changed player. Most of us just hope we see an improvement and a bit more consistency.Ayton did the whole choke and disappear during the playoffs again, just this past May, in the playoffs - when it mattered most - and he was outplayed by Jock freakin Landale

What's weak is not getting rid of Ayton before this year's playoffs - I don't really want to waste one of the few BBD years we'll have only to find out Ayton is who we thought he wasWeak. Very weak. Nice job of sidestepping - you'd be all over you if you'd done that to yourself in a conversation here. What's weak is not getting rid of Ayton before this year's playoffs - I don't really want to waste one of the few BBD years we'll have only to find out Ayton is who we thought he was
Just stop with the "nothing in return" retort, it's already been gone through ad nauseam. You can't have a coward on your starting 5 and still compete with a legit starting 5. That's it.Nice job of sidestepping - you'd be all over you if you'd done that to yourself in a conversation here.
But ignoring that, I disagree that it's simply "weak". If we had a chance to get value for him and didn't take it, I could see making the case that it was weak. But you routinely present this situation as one where we'd simply be better offer without him even if we got nothing in return and had to eat his contract I I think that's further away from reality than many of DA's comments.
You can't jettison a player who other teams showed interest in like Indiana for example and simply say we should get rid of him even if it means getting nothing. You can't jettison a player that has a valuable expiring contract. That's just stupid. That's not a retort. That's letting blind hatred dictate a stupid decision. That's it.Just stop with the "nothing in return" retort, it's already been gone through ad nauseam. You can't have a coward on your starting 5 and still compete with a legit starting 5. That's it.

I've already done this. I saw a sign and trade being the most viable - but thing is nobody wanted/wants Ayton with his contract - otherwise he'd be gone because we most definitely triedIf you explained how the Suns get rid of Ayton's $100+ million contract, it would help.

How many years are we realistically expecting/hoping BBD to play together? 2 or 3? And that's hoping none of the trio are injured?
With everything we've put into this self created all or nothing scenario.. we don't have time to see if Ayton eventually pans out or finishes puberty
Nobody. Wants. Ayton. It takes two to party. What was the sign and trade option that was on the table?
His genes be propagAyton.Great.. DA knocking up porn stars..
