<<sniff, sniff<< I miss Coach Mac. Anyone think he might be willing to return? With all the talent on the team now, he'd do pretty well, no?

This place is a freaking Graveyard.

Stallings--never coached in the NFL again. But, won NT at Alabama.

Bugel--see him lurking around as OL coach once in awhile.

Ryan--retired to feed horses

Tobin--????? MIA

MacGinnis--In Tennessee, but position coach or something.

Green--being relocated to the PHX Zoo

Yes. I've often wondered what he could do with a team that actually had talent. Maybe he could inspire these yahoos to actually play up to their talent level.

One thing is for sure. He couldn't do any worse.:D

Well, last in points scored and last in points allowed was as bad as you can be statistically. But, on the other hand, he was never 1-7.

Yeah he could be Denny's alter ego. That would probably appease some. He could be the closer.

No absolutly not and I like Mac a lot [as a person]

What fooled me with DG was how much professional, motivated and organized practices were.

After watching Mac's practices for a few years, it was clear DG was a far better coach. Little did I know there were other problems.

Mac went 1-11 from the time he took over from Tobin through the 2nd game of the following season. He went 1-9 to finish the 2002 season and 1-7 to finish his career with the Cards in 2003. But you're right he never started a season 1-7. 2-6 was as close as he could get.

The Valley so low.
I will admit, i voted yes. No, I don't predict more victories from the move--unless motivation is all we need, which I doubt. But he is a nice guy, who relates to players--that puts him two up on Green. And I don't mean I want him next year, just as a different-from-zilch substitute. Or different zilch....

Except none of those coaches made their players BETTER. A couple (Green and Ryan) had previous success, but on very talented teams. Now I realize a coach who can do this is rare, but I contest this place not as much a graveyard as it is a bad judge in coaches.

That's 12 too many yes votes. Come on people. After 2003 we are lucky to still have a fanbase left after Jonestown-style mass suicides.
