:thud:

sopranos, entourage, big love, rome... anyone one of those is reason enough to pony up the extra bucks a month.

I am already looking for things to cut with my $125 Cox bill. I think I'm getting ripped off with the Internet charges or something.

T isn’t too happy with Christopher right now.

I wouldn't go that far, maybe a little bit. But when Christopher called, Tony's pride was at an all-time low after getting his butt kicked by Bobby. It's no wonder he hung up on him. (Which was great, BTW)

Bobby is stupid. Why can't you double tap someone out of reach. Skin cells all over that shirt.

yep - not sure how it will play with it being in Canada and all, but as soon as he left the shirt it was obviously bad - especially with the earlier commentary about DNA testing - i also think bobby may turn, this isn't the life he wanted, he seems happier playing daddy fishing by a lake

BTW, your spoiler didn't work. :)

I don't remember that part...did Bobby leave his shirt at the 'job site?'

My wife brought up an interesting thing...did bobby change clothes, or did his undershirt still have Tony's blood on it (hence, some would be on the inside of the shirt that got ripped off).

Thus, TONY is implicated in this Canada thing.

The murder was at least two days after the fight. I highly doubt that Bobby would still be wearing the same bloody shirt.

I think they were calling this stretch of episodes as "the beginning of the end," and it seems like they set up everything perfectly in this episode. That talk they had on the boat, the fight, the hit, Bobby never having killed anyone before and now being forced to... good to have the show back, even if it's almost over.

New (series-ending) theory from Bill Simmons and his readers;

Lou from Farmington Hills is about to ruin the last "Sopranos" for you: "I just had an epiphany about the ending of the 'Sopranos.' It fits into one of your three possibilities, but it could almost be its own category: Tony gets killed by Janice. We know that Bobby was talking about DNA, and the kid he killed ripped his shirt. He's probably got fibers under his fingernails and those fibers have sweat and whatever on them. Anyway, that's going to get Bobby arrested, and it's going to piss Janice off. She knows that Tony ordered it, so she'll blame him and end up killing him. She's done it before. I think it fits in perfectly because when you think about it, the women have been the most powerful people throughout the whole series. They pretty much control the men and their happiness. Also, in closing, Janice is effing crazy."

(Agree with everything. Also, it would make sense if David Chase's original plan for the last show was to have Tony's mother kill him -- a premise that's seems plausible in the pilot -- but since she died in real life, Janice took the torch as the female Soprano who kills Tony. Also, we've already seen her blow away Richie Aprile, so we know she has it in her. I like this theory.)

I thought it was the day after.

The day after the fight is when Tony and Bobby met the Canadian guys and arranged the hit. I doubt that Bobby went to Canada and killed the guy that same day.

Either way, Bobby was showered and changed the next morning at breakfast, so I don't think your wife's theory holds water.

a) I think he went directly off to do it after Tony and Carm left. They were right by Canada.

b) I agree, it doesn't hold water.

wow - that was as intense of a last three minutes of a Sopranos episode i've ever seen... i know it's only been two episodes, but this season harkens back to the first two seasons where there was no doubt that this show was amongst the bets ever written. that song played over the end of Phil's speech and at the christening was hypnotic.

i can't wait to see how this show continues to evolve and ultimately end.

Agreed, there, cheese. The show continues to hit you over the head with unexpected twists. Phil talking about getting out? Who would have thought that 2 years ago?

And call me crazy, I think that idea is starting to crawl into Tony's brain as well.
