Still can't get over taking KT out! We lead by 8 with 5mins to go 79-71. KT went out and then they went on an 8-0 run to tie it up!

That is almost unforgiveable!!

Like TheHopToad said, KT was probably done anyways. I don't think he's played that many minutes in a long time.

The game was decided by Stu Jackson and David Stern.

I just complain about anything in todays game. I mean were fighting an entire army with a slingshot today, and somehow almost did it. Our guys gave everything they had tonight.

And i can actually understand kt out barbs in at the end, on offense we were completly stangnant with kurt/nash just run pick and rolls, and them staying on shooters. Putting marion in the pick with duncan opened things up.

And they were gonna double duncan, anyway w/ kurt or not, so it didnt matter.

unfortunately, you were dead on about this game and 300. We fought as hard as we could for as long and we fought like champions, but ultimately, we lost the battle. HOWEVER, we didn't LOSE THE WAR. seeing the fight in that game and grit, hopefully our story ends the same way as 300 as the ENTIRE TEAM COMES TOGETHER IN GAME 6 AND WE FINALLY BEAT THESE ****ERS AND COME HOME FOR THE BIGGEST PARTY SINCE GAME 7 LAST YEAR!

We weren't gonna hold the Spurs down the stretch, so I can't really blame anybody for this loss. We needed to score a few more points to really have a chance to win and we couldn't get it done. I'm proud of these guys, they played as hard as they could, it just wasn't enough. They'll be ready friday

Man, I was so down emotionally after this game, that I was saying screw it, I ain't watching game 6.

But you're right man, game 6 is it, in more ways than one. If we lose, after what this league has done to us, I honestly will have to divest myself of the NBA. I think a lot of people here feel the same way.

And no, I dont mean never watch NBA ball again, but stop following it closely. I mean, we said all year just give us a fair chance, and they screwed us from that, I (and I suspect many others here) just can't do that anymore.

But..., if we can do it in game 6, somehow, someway, please let it be our time...everything we have been through.

i look at it this way - most teams/towns that are STARVED for a title seem to have to go through HELL AND BACK to get that first one. Remember how AWFUL games 3-5 of the World Series wasand how AWFUL the eighth inning of Game 7 was? Remember how the Sox were down 3-0 to their most hated team and the evil Empire? Both us (D-Backs) and the Sox came back from UNBELIEVABLE odds to win titles and they literally had to go up against history, horrible play and everything else. THAT'S how you seemingly have to win a title and apparently, it's the same way we're going to have to.

NOTHING WORTH HAVING COMES EASY. In fact, the GREATEST things in life come from the hardest possible circumstances possible. This could be one of those times. And if it's not, well, since the series was COMPLETELY taken out of our hands, I won't be depressed. I'll just say screw the NBA and a bit of my love for the game will dissipate, but hey, maybe that's not such a bad thing. I'm too beholden to sports as it is.

Game 6 - all or nothing.

Tough loss, but I'm still believing in my team. There will be another day, another game.

Thanks a lot man. I was feeling REALLY low after this game. I know we had it and we gave it away.

But then you reminded me how much this is exactly like Game 5 of the World Series in 2001. Hopefully it will have the same result.

If nothing else you have lifted my spirit for the time being.

Great post.

My License Plate is 'Game 7' -- and Cheese, you nailed it -- what I learned in the 9th inning in 2001 was that you NEVER give up the belief in your team as long as THEY don't give up. I learned in fact, you must never give up on yourself. You have to believe in the possibility of pulling off the amazing outcome. And you have to crash through every hurdle it takes. Most of you didn't give the Suns an icicle's chance in hell to even show up tonight, and don't try denying it. Even you, Cheese, were psychotically depressed.

How can you all be so bummed tonight after the pure gutty game the Suns put on? You didn't think they had a prayer of a win just a few hours ago! I am so proud of them -- Yeah, it's frustrating and disappointing, but it showed so much about their character.

FRIDAY! BIG GAME!

I would really like to tell David Stern he can take his NBA and shove it up his...well you know where. However, as much as I hate the league right now and all of the BS it stands for, I can't and won't turn my back on this great group of men we have playing for the Suns.

I've already limited my NBA attention to purely the Suns now anyway, and I guess it will have to stay that way. When they leave, I leave. But I will be back to support and follow them and only them. I feel we owe it to them, since they didn't create the politics, they are the victims of it.

Taking KT out and playing LB has got to be the dumbest coaching decision I've ever seen. This loss is ALL D'Antoni's. STUPID!!!!!!!

Kurt was obviously tired at the halftime interview and wound up playing 36 minutes -- three quarters -- and about twice the playing time he usually gets.

You should try real hard to make sense. It's not D'Antoni's fault any more than it's your fault.

Six of one, half dozen of the other...

We play our six best guys the entire game, have a chance to win, and just come up short; or we let the inept scrubs take some minutes and get blown out.

A loss is a loss...

This is just so illogical. What did you want, Pat Burke to play more minutes? He was worthless out there.

Nothing was going to make KT less tired. He played 36 minutes and was gassed. No ifs, ands or buts about it. It sucks that he couldn't be in at the critical moments, and that LB was just useless out there, but what can you do? Put Jalen Rose in for KT? THAT certainly would not have worked either.

4 guys played. 2 of them (Bell and Barbosa) didn't show up at all.
