With 25.6 seconds left Finley get's fouled on a three. Popavich looks at his assistant and says - "They called it now". Grinning..

Just Wow, after 2 years of dissapointing losses to the Suns the Lakers are making the finals. What a turnaround. they have played well and deserves it.

In a van...down by the river.
If i'm the SPURS i go out and get Ron Artest this summer. They can't continue to go thru scoring droughts like they do. Lose everyone but the big 3 and Umberto/Udoka.
They should also try to resign Thomas if the price isn't to high. Doubt that'll happen though.

I did not watch much of the series, but clearly the Spurs are not the dominant team they've been. Take away the weirdness in the Suns series and it could have gone 7, the Hornets' series went 7, and the Spurs were generally outplayed in the Laker series.

I'm not saying for sure the dynasty is over, but they are not the same team they were.

The Spurs are still dependent on some older guys:

Barry - 12/31/71
Bowen - 06/14/71
Finley - 3/6/73
Horry - 8/25/70
Thomas - 10/4/72
Stoudamire - 5/3/

Vaughn 2/11/75
Oberto 3/21/77
Udoka 8/9/77
Ginobilli 7/28/77

The Spurs have only two guys born after 1981 (Parker in 1982 and Mahinmi in 1986). Bonner and Johnson were born in 1980.

You should feel lucky that Nash won those two MVPs that he never deserved

Thank you for you submission which makes you a candidate for the "Troll Hall of Fame". I'm sure you are excited to be included in the contest which could win you all kinds of fame and wonderful gifts. Not every one gets the opportunity you have You have a chance to listed along some of the all time great Trolls representing the dregs of Dallas and San Antonio.

Only as a member of the Troll Hall of Fame can you hope to get the respect and appreciation you so warmly deserve.

Didn't the Suns have most of these old guys on their wish list? (Obviously not Thomas) I wouldn't be totally shocked to see the suns make a push for Barry or Finley, they will be cheap.
