Great, now I get to hear everyone at school gloat...
*sigh* Why can't the Suns ever have their luck??
I was surprised to see him though, yes.
huh?You should feel lucky that Nash won those two MVPs that he never deserved

I did not watch much of the series, but clearly the Spurs are not the dominant team they've been. Take away the weirdness in the Suns series and it could have gone 7, the Hornets' series went 7, and the Spurs were generally outplayed in the Laker series.
I'm not saying for sure the dynasty is over, but they are not the same team they were.
The Spurs are still dependent on some older guys:
Barry - 12/31/71
Bowen - 06/14/71
Finley - 3/6/73
Horry - 8/25/70
Thomas - 10/4/72
Stoudamire - 5/3/
Vaughn 2/11/75
Oberto 3/21/77
Udoka 8/9/77
Ginobilli 7/28/77
The Spurs have only two guys born after 1981 (Parker in 1982 and Mahinmi in 1986). Bonner and Johnson were born in 1980.
The Lakers were just thanking him for Gasol.
