I could leave my house in Austin Texas at 8AM on Sunday and be in the parking lot at SDS by 11AM for the Derminators tailgate.

Probably take longer to get to Glendale though.

Man, what's your whip?

Then he had to argue with them for taking the caps off of his waters. They tried to explain to him that it was an NFL rule, but I guess he just couldn’t understand that.

The Aug. 12 game was my wife's first NFL game since she was a kid growing up in the Twin Cities (her last game was at the old Met)...what IS the rule on the water bottle caps? That surprised her too...

at pretty much any sporting event you are only allowed to bring in unopened bottled water - the caps must still have their seal (i'm assuming that was the problem)

My friend was driving down Glendale Ave. at 83rd Ave. at about 6:45pm. He didnt get in until about 2 minutes left in the half. Not only does Glendale have no clue on how to handle traffic, they also told him once he reached the entrance to lot E, that he couldn't enter, even though he had a pass, so they made him drive all the way down Bethany Home to 95th, then back to Maryland and they parked him in lot W. Parking IS A MESS. Glendale needs to seriously get a clue and turn those streets into one way streets in and out like Tempe. And if you have a pass, you should get a spot.

Positives, the sound system in the upper level was a HUGE improvement, concessions better, and the scoreboard was utilized. On game day, I guess the plan will be tailgate 4 hours before and at least an hour after.

the game starts in 15 minutes, whats he expect?

I left Tempe at about 3:40 pm. Traffic was kinda bad on the I-10 where it meets with the 202/51. I turned north on I-17 to Thomas, then west on Grand Ave. traffic wasn't too bad until I got to the Glendale ave. underpass, so i quickly got off and just headed west from Glendale ave. and i got to the parking lot about 5 minutes till 5pm. It wasn't too bad, but there were a lot of construction zones on glendale ave. The worse part was the traffic on the I-10.
When i got the stadium i was looking for Lot H at the high school, but it was actually called Lot Brown. So i had to make a U-turn.

No, I was referring to a guy in front of me buying Gatorade and waters. The staff had to take the tops off of each drink. The customer was having a fit and the staff remained calm and informed him that it was an NFL policy that they can’t serve beverages with lids.

They took the time to explain how the NFL created the policy because a drink with a lid becomes a safety hazard because it is easier to launch to the field than a drink without a lid. This process took a long time, so we all got to sit and listen to the explanation.

The explanation was very informative, but it wasted a lot of time.

yeah - it is a timewaster and i've seen that they've always taken the tops, but never cared enough to ask why

but if he didn't explain, gatorade/water guy would be on here and complain that the rude worker took his tops and told him to move along and stop holding up the line
