Never heard of the n00bs, so I can't comment one way or another. If they're 'my only real role was in a Disney movie' actors, then boo. If not, then maybe. I can't form an opinion yet.

none of them are "my only real role was in a Disney movie" actors. Driver is consistently the only reason to watch Girls and Isaac was the lead in the last Coen Brother's movie (which Driver was in as well). Both guys are super talented.

New Space SOAP Opera.....As the Star Wars Turns.

Leia: "Han, I already told you, I was only with him that one time while you were frozen in carbonite. What was I suppose to do? And I swear to god it you make a joke about how stiff you were back then I am filing for divorce."

Han: "But Lando, really?"

Leia: "Stop it, you know I love you"

Han: "I know"

According to Ain't it Cool News the working title for Ep.7 is The Ancient Fear.

I'll believe it when Disney says something about it but it is definitely better than Attack of the Clones.

Not a chance that is the final title IMO. At best it's a working title and they won't announce the final title until closer to release when the marketing machine kicks into high gear.

Star Wars’ Casts Oscar Winner Lupita Nyong'o, ‘Game of Thrones’ Actress Gwendoline Christie.

Hot off winning an Oscar for her breakout supporting performance in “12 Years a Slave,” Lupita Nyong'o has joined the cast of “Star Wars: Episode VII,” Disney and Lucasfilm announced Monday.

Additionally, Gwendoline Christie, who currently stars as Brienne of Tarth on HBO's hit series “Game of Thrones,” has also been added to the ensemble in an unspecified capacity.

:D

Harrison Ford sustained an ankle injury during filming today on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII. He was taken to a local hospital and is receiving care. Shooting will continue as planned while he recuperates.

Star Wars: Tom Cruise to have cameo role?

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/star-wars/10919936/Star-Wars-Tom-Cruise-to-have-cameo-role.html

Tom Cruise has reportedly met Star Wars director JJ Abrams in London to discuss the possibility of a cameo appearance in Star Wars: Episode VII.

A film insider told The Sun newspaper (£) that: "Tom [Cruise] has been in London for over a week and met up with JJ [Abrams] and some other people from Star Wars over the weekend.

"On Saturday evening five of them met up for dinner and drinks at the Belgravia Hotel. JJ produced Mission Impossible 5 and loves working with Tom whenever he gets the chance.

"Losing Harrison Ford [to a broken leg] is going to set things back a little scheduling wise and there’s some time to play around with."

I would be all for a Cruz cameo. He gets a bad rap for his crazy religion and PR screw ups but Edge of Tomorrow proves he has plenty left to offer movie fans.

I think a Cruise cameo is a pretty terrible idea. A guy like him just popping up for a couple moments would immediately suck me out of whatever world they're building there.

That would totally depend on how they did it. If it was a "hey I am Tom Cruise" moment...you are right that would suck.

+1

Also, news is that Harrison Ford may be out of filming for more than six months, that his leg is worse than first reported, and massive re-writes may be called for. Couple this with the Cruise rumors, and I am not a happy camper. He's a good actor, but not someone to call in on this project. Save for Ford, because he was there at the beginning, I don't want this being the 'starring this massive actor' franchise.

Looks like the photo is chopped. If that text was handwritten, whoever wrote it can do write their letters exactly the same each time. Look at the C's and N's. All the exact same. What in the world is a kessel?

If you don't know what the Kessel Run is, you shouldn't be posting is Star Wars thread!

:p:p:p:p:p:p

The Kessel Run was one of the most heavily used smuggling routes in the Galactic Empire. Han Solo claimed that his Millennium Falcon "made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs". A parsec is a unit of distance, not time. Solo was not referring directly to his ship's speed when he made this claim. Instead, he was referring to the shorter route he was able to travel by skirting the nearby Maw black hole cluster, thus making the run in under the standard distance. By moving closer to the black holes, Solo managed to cut the distance down to about 11.5 parsecs.

UGH! Looks like Harrison Ford might be out for 6 months as it wasn't a broken ankle but a broken leg. They are saying the Studio is trying to figure out if they should delay the release of the film by 6 months or do rewrites to accommodate the injury.
