Yeah P&R can be treacherous ground. There should be a popup upon entering that forum saying, "Enter at your own risk, but know that by entering this forum your odds of being banned increase exponentially."

:clapping:

With Dante saying: "Abandon all hope, ye who enter here."

Quick...someone analyze everything on his screen for me to peak into what it will say. :)

On his left computer screen, on the right side of the screen, theres a vertical column. If those are the many time clips of the movie, with descriptions, I can tell you that the movie is top heavy since the descriptions are longer (IE "the resistance discusses the coming battle with Ren"), and the 2nd half will likely be lots of mindless action, by virture of the shorter descriptions (IE "attack scene 1, etc.).

If you bring it into Photoshop and blow up the center of the left screen, you can see the dialog,

REY INT Early Morning : "It was all a dream. Because: Rosebud."

Nice teaser. Did what it needed to do with some cool space battle footage and more AT-ATs!

Best thing about it: No teaser for the teaser. I hate that. :)

I think it's at an earlier time in the film when Ray has to convince Luke to train her. That is my guess anyway.
Possibly, but why would Luke want the Jedi to end? That would open the door to the dark side taking over - no more balance to the force.

The AT-ATs are supposedly much, much bigger than previous versions and have a similar walk as a gorilla.

It was alluded to in the previous film that Luke reforming the Jedi is what started this all. I think he is still in grief or denial about what happened. I mean the guy secluded himself and hid from the entire galaxy. Not sure he is in a good frame of mind to start with.

I would imagine it would take Rey, the loss of his friend (Han) to convince him the Jedi are needed more than ever.

I think you and I talked about the last trailer. It didn't have a moment in it like TFA when the music kicked in and it gave me goose bumps. However, this has me just as excited because we get more Luke. It also appears we get to see how the Jedi under Luke fell.

That has me geeked out!

It is a teaser though. The TFA had more hype because of the anticipation. And, then the falcon at the end doing that roll.

Speaking of SW trailers.. How much as the internet changed trailer drops. Anyone remember when Phantom's trailer showed in theaters and people were buying tickets to any movie that had it playing? Movies were being sold out just by people going to see the Phantoms trailer. It was a lot of fun.

Now, we just wait for a notice and go to youtube...

The TFA teaser wasn't great because of the hype though... it was great because it was GREAT. Same with Rogue One. It was just a GREAT teaser. This one just wasn't.

I also think that my reaction to TFA just doesn't have me as geeked out for this.

For me it is the exact opposite. I am excited to see what a different writer/director can do with the material.

The involvement of Rian Johnson has me looking forward to this one.

Yeah...the good old days. I admit that on more than one occasion I went to see a mediocre movie or one I wasn't rushing to see because of the trailers of another big movie showing in front of it.

Now with the internet, leaks etc. It's just pointless.

Yep. Plus, I have been dying to see how it all went bad with building the new order.

Considering this trailer came out just days after that Thor trailer, it's no surprise to me that it's more "meh" than "Yeah!"
