Hunter is athletic and has good shotblocking-insticts. He doesn't have any idea about anything else concerning basketball.

How would that work? I know he was just recently traded from Orlando to Cleveland. Would we need to trade a player or a second round pick for him?

According to Gambo, if the Cavs as expected get Traylor the Cavs may simply waive him

I think the Cavs have to close the deal with Traylor before the Suns can acquire Hunter. The Cavs are the biggest player in the bottom barrel big men because they have a few million to play with.

Traylor played for the Cavs 2000-2001 where he had his best year (hardly a standout but enough to have some trade value): 5.7 ppg, 4.3 rpg in 17.3 minutes.

Hunter remains a project. His stats are not impressive.

Looks like Hunter has a knack for blocking shots. 1.24 pg in only 13 mpg is quite good. Too bad he's not a better rebounder.

Still, if we had a center that could give us 2.5 blocks per game, and 7 or so rebounds in 26 minutes or so per game, on a consistent basis, I think I would be happy.

My guess is that he's got foul problems?
