I think Len is going to blossom this year.

I just hope he can put his lingering foot/ankle issues behind him. Did he grow over the year? He looks a full 2 inches taller than Plum. Maybe it's just camera angle or foreground/background stuff but I thought they were closer in height.

I never really saw them side by side but Len was a much more imposing figure in the key then Plumlee so this picture looks about right to me. He does look a big stronger though.

I do believe he will. Medical care has advanced so much since the Bill Walton days, and the Suns have been very patient with him in his rehab. Len does not look skinny at all in that picture. He doesn't look thick, like Plumlee, but he has broad shoulders and a good frame.

Len is one that we need to be patient with, give him good coaching, and let him develop. If Robin Lopez can eventually develop into a contributing player, this guy should do more.

They are listed at 7'1" and 6'11"

I wonder if Plumlee will even play in the summer league. He played the last 2 years for Indiana. I know the Morris twins played last summer but I don't think you would normally see 3rd year players in the summer.

I am looking forward to watching Goodwin and Len plus the 2014 draft picks however.

BC would probably die of a heart-attack from overwhelming surprise/delight.

That doesn't officially happen until after Hornacek moves Plumlee out to the three point line and gives him the green light.

Moving Plumlee to the 3-point line might give me a heart attack, but not from overwhelming surprise/delight.

Starting and ending a game with a legitimate Center on the court -- now that's basketball. :)

I think that, as regards your unswaying position on Centers in the NBA, you are part dinosaur and part correct. You're a Correctosaurus.;)

We need a true center. Not all the time and not against every opponent but we need a quality center that can play the game the old fashioned way. Hopefully Len or Plumlee will develop into that center.

It would not surprise me to see Len shooting 3's now and then so I hope BC867 is prepared for it.

Just say no to Plumlee shooting 3's.

A threat to do anything once in a while helps a Center's game.

You don't consider Channing Frye's 3-point shots from the Center position a 'now and then' thing, do you? Unless it means 'he does it now and he'll do it then -- every time. :D

If Plumlee could hit the 15-18 foot jumper with regularity, he could play PF. I do believe he can guard pf's. While it may not be his regular position, it would add alot of versatility to the roster.

Can't wait to see Archie in summer league this year.

I am still certain that he will be a star. He already has most of the tools just needs to improve as a shooter and a little bit as a passer and understanding the game. I think all those things will come with time and work.

In 2 years he could be the best player on the team.

If that is the case, wouldn't it make sense to not sign Bledsoe, start Green at Shooting Guard and move Goodwin into the rotation as his backup until he is ready to move up to the starting spot? And sign a strong backup for Dragic at Point Guard.

The alternative is trading Green and moving Goodwin into the backup 2-Guard role, but with Bledsoe's injury history, Goodwin isn't ready for that.
