I can't watch the game, but from the look of the box score, the Suns are extremely fortunate to trail by only six at halftime.

Shawn Marion

Nov1 LAL 6-23FGs
Nov14 Hou 4-13FGs
Dec3 Min 3-11FGs
Dec13 LAC 6-21FGs
Dec16 Sea 5-20FGs
Dec28 Phi 7-20FGs
Jan2 Det 5-16FGs
Jan5 Chi 6-19FGs
Jan7 Mil 8-21FGs
Jan9 Sac 4-17FGs
Jan19 LAL 3-14FGs
Jan21 Den 8-27FGs

Today 1-8FGs in the first half.

Look at the games since the trade. Marion is haveing off shooting nights every second game.

It is not hating on Marion, it is a fact. Those shooting numbers don't even take into effect that he can't really create his own shot and doesn't know how to get to the line. I can't really remember him having that many bad shooting nights in all of the last 2 seasons.

He is playing better now. Mainly because he got 4 assists for layups and dunks.

But he has to be more consistant. If he doesn't get back to his old level he is simply not worth the money. Why can't he play like that for a full game?
That's what a leader does.

If Marion keeps playing like that I don't see why we would want Kobe/Marion when we can have Kobe/JJ instead.

Shawn Marion seems to be playing slightly better this half. (And, go figure, Phoenix is now up by 8 points.)

Hey, not everybody can be as consistent as Joe Johnson, right?

Since the trade I would say that JJ is easily our most consistent player.

In the 2nd half he created easy baskets for Marion and himself.

He can't always play like that because the leaders of the team sometimes have to take a rest and thus unable to create space for Marion's dunks!:D

Not to mention, how much you pay for the luxary to carry Marion along with Kobe/JJ.:D

Harvey's Back!!!!

I'm glad to see Harvey rather than GOOGS.

Then he screws up in the paint.:(

This is hard not playing for weeks then coming in during a tight game.

Man, the Atlanta announcers are butchering the pronunciation of Zarko's last name.

I hate that D'Antoni isn't playing Lampe.

They have NOTHING to lose. Even if Lampe sucks out there and hurts them, he needs playing time and we improve our lottery chances.
Sounds like a good deal to me. Instead he keeps Lampe on the bench forever. Not even throwing him in for a minute and pull him right away if he sucks.

I think Lampe ruined his chance to play more minutes by publicly saying that they promised to get him off the IL after 5 games. The coach can't let the player dictate whether he plays or not.:D

Please stop with the Lampe lovefest. This team is playing with chemistry at the moment.

Casey Jacobsen + Jahidi White = victory in this game.

If Jahidi fouls out, the Suns could easily wind up with a few more lottery balls.

Yeah, I would rather see Lampe over Gugilotta any day.

C'mon now. If they play Harvey every now and then or give some of White or Googs minutes to Lampe will surely not ruin the team chemistry.
Especially since Lampe might be the only one of those on the roster next season.

Must be pretty much the first time he did something different than the usual baby windmill dunk.
Too bad he followed it up with another long J, an airball 3.

He can't do right huh? :)
A loss tonight and we would be one game ahead of the 4th worst record.
Would help our lottery chances because Atlanta can catch us.

We better lose tomorrow because we just jumped ahead of Cleveland again and Portland and Golden State are also just 1 win ahead of us.
