Harvey was a real nuisance on the boards in a couple of our games against Denver... glad we got him at a good price.

it's beacuse harvey can only be traded 90 days after signing the contract, so that would be tomorrow and since archibald and harvey were the only players not with their teams, it's kinda obvious whats happening.

Dec. 21, 2003: Robert Archibald was overheard saying "goodbye" to several of his teammates
LOL, that's a little judicious editing. What he really said was, "Goodbye, my name's Robert."
I personally do not like to give up any draft picks because of the foreign input to the NBA.

I do think that Harvey is definitely worth a #40-45 2nd round pick.
TORONTO -- The Orlando Magic are expected to send forward Donnell Harvey to the Phoenix Suns for a second-round draft pick on Tuesday.
Harvey
The deal, reported by the Orlando Sentinel, cannot become official until Tuesday per league rules. Free agents signed in the off-season cannot be traded within 90 days of signing.
The 6-8, 220-pound, third-year pro out of Florida signed with the Magic on Sept. 23.
"We're making roster changes, and Donnell's a part of it," Magic General Manager John Gabriel told the paper.
Some sort of move was anticipated after Harvey was held out of play twice last week and then was not in Toronto for Sunday's game against the Raptors.
The Magic have been disappointed in Harvey's play -- he averaged 4.1 points and three rebounds in 24 games and has been criticized for his inability to finish around the basket.
The pick will probably be passed along, as Orlando still owes the Atlanta Hawks a second-round pick from a previous transaction.
Harvey played previously with the New York Knicks and Denver Nuggets.
He was selected by the Knicks as the 22nd pick in the 2000 draft.

Second round picks are worthless.
If they turn out to be really good there's no way you can resign them.
Just look at Gilbert Arenas.

According to ESPN, Archibald isn't even included!
Why not?Originally posted by George O'Brien
Orlando is currently listed at $48.4 million, which is above the cap. That means they cannot trade directly for the draft pick.

I think it's backwards.
The Suns can't trade a pick for a player because they're over the cap.
Actually they can if the player has a vet min. contract.Originally posted by newfan101
