This team is tough to watch. It's like they've never played together before. Outside of Len (maybe Knight), I don't like any of our core. I don't think Bledsoe is capable of leading a team. It would be interesting to see how Knight would run the team if Bledsoe were out for a couple weeks.

At some point I think the Suns need to look at the coaching. Who is pushing for this two PG attack? I'd have to think it is Hornacek but who knows. If it is McDonough, he has put the cart before the horse.

That said we lost because our starting front court got ejected and we have neither a backup PF nor C.

What happened to our offense since the OKC game.... Green is only fouling and missing shots.

Our bench is non-existent without Isaiah Thomas. Everyone on our bench sucks or does not play regularly.

They have. Whiteside should have gotten a T' earlier for the same thing. You can't just purposely jump toward a guy after a dunk and elbow him in the face like Whiteside's done. I lost any respect I had for Whiteside after that - That's just a dirty play and the fact that he did it TWICE in this game shows it wasn't accidental. (experienced/respected) Big guys in the NBA don't do dirty stuff like that - it's just silly/immature and not respectful to your opponent. It's not "tough", it's just immature trying to start stuff w/ chippy plays like that ...

Not even to mention Whiteside's cheap tackle on Len when Len was half-turned away ... I would be surprised if Whiteside isn't suspended 5+ games for that. Honestly, I could even see him being suspended a game for just basically elbowing Len when he came down on his dunk.

Whiteside's size/strength was too much for Len to handle at times ... But that's not a knock on Len - His size is too much for practically EVERYBODY in the league right now. In a few years, we'll be saying the same thing about Len as he dominates players in size

Maybe in a fair world. IMO, he should be looking at a two game suspension but I doubt if that happens.

That was one strange game.

Kief was on fire, he gets tossed, the other Mori was horrible

Len was having a big night, he gets tossed. Still finishes with 10 pts 11 boards

Thorton got on the court, and finally scored, 4 pts

Tyler Johnson and Beasley kill us.

Looks like Knight was running the point most of the night, he didn't look good, 5 TO's, shot 3-12

Tucker puts up 20 and 15

Dragic put a dagger 3 in us

TJ Warren gets 15 minutes, but only takes 2 shots

Wade showed us again how badly our team needs a star

Bledsoe, quiet all night, goes off in the 2nd half with Whiteside out of the middle, but not enough.

Yeah, Knight doesn't know his place without the ball in his hands. He's just standing around.

He was supposed to make 3s for us but he is shooting under 30%.

The Suns could have traded Goran, kept IT, and signed Kanter. Then the Suns would be much improved. Trading the Lakers pick, plus the Minnesota pick earlier in season were bad moves.

Hornacek did not have control of the Suns roster before the trades. The trades were made to right the ship, not sink it.

Yep, it's like the FO cut off their nose to spite their face by trading IT on top of Dragic. Only one of them needed to go.

I mean, I can't think of the last time a player basically charged at another player's stomach/lower-body trying to tackle him. I'm not sure what the precedent is for that, but I'm guessing it's 5+ games ... Luckily it doesn't look like Len (or Whiteside) threw any punches or escalated the situation when they were both down (Which would lead to longer suspensions). In the heat of the moment, Len could have easily punched Whiteside a couple times after he tackled him, but no replay shows that, which is good ....

You can tell once Green comes in everyone just starts chucking up shots. He plays such bad d everyone gets out of position and has to rotate.

I agree I am not liking Horney's coaching at all. Stop playing Green and letting your players just get by not playing smart!

I wish I could agree with you. Yes more practice would help but I don't think the Suns have the right coach plus McDonough is showing some miscues as a GM with player personnel. The Suns look to be headed the wrong direction fast. Some tough decisions are going to have to be made in the off season.

I guess I was looking at the wrong one of your posts. In short, I am not ready to run Hornacek out of town, especially in light of the midseason roster overhaul.
