I mean, I can't think of the last time a player basically charged at another player's stomach/lower-body trying to tackle him. I'm not sure what the precedent is for that, but I'm guessing it's 5+ games ... Luckily it doesn't look like Len (or Whiteside) threw any punches or escalated the situation when they were both down (Which would lead to longer suspensions). In the heat of the moment, Len could have easily punched Whiteside a couple times after he tackled him, but no replay shows that, which is good ....

Whiteside instigated the incident. I didn't see anything on tape where I personally thought Len acted inappropriately. There was an incident or whatever one wants to call it leading to the ejections but Len just threw Whiteside's arms off him. I don't buy both players needed to be ejected.

I guess I was looking at the wrong one of your posts. In short, I am not ready to run Hornacek out of town, especially in light of the midseason roster overhaul.

We are probably mixing posts. :)

I must say I am not high on Hornacek's coaching. From my perspective, the team has got away from him.

And Markieff's flagrant on Dragic - what a complete douche bag.

When did this happen and what was the score when it happened? Was it worthy of an ejection?

Midway through the third quarter, Suns down by 10 or so. Should have been a flagrant 1. Morris was reckless and didn't really make a play at the ball, but it wasn't extreme.

From highlights - 65-53, 8.40 left in the third. Cleans him up attempting to block him on a breakaway lay up. Dragic goes flying face first into the row of cameras behind the back board. Classy.

Thanks guys. I'll try to find it on Youtube tomorrow or later tonight.

The team just seems thoroughly unlikable right now. I am a casual fan at best, and am not at all interested in watching these guys.

That wasn't worthy of an ejection at all. He made a play on the ball enough not for it to be a flagrant whether it was intention or not.

Len did the right thing and just wrapped Whiteside up.

my God you are a Dragic homer. I can understand a Flagrant 1, but even that I thought was somewhat questionable. Calling that a flagrant 2 was ridiculous. And it was adding insult to injury since the turnover that started the fast-break was a clear foul against Tucker. The defender just reached out and grabbed his arm. They looked like crap against San Antonio, but I thought the referees in that game were pretty lopsided. This was just as bad. It's probably because the referees hate our players… somewhat deservedly I'll admit.

I'm sorry, but our backcourt… really difficult to watch. 80% of the turnovers they commit are just inexcusable.

Here's the scary thing...they will be one of the West's highest paid backcourts after Knight gets his extension this summer.

And you know that no matter what, Knight will get resigned by the Suns since they gave up so much to get him in the first place.

Regardless, it was a massively stupid and immature play by Morris! I'm so done with this clown... Get outta town clown!

I am done I think for a while. It's just too depressing to watch. That's the thing that Kieff and the bunch have to understand. If watching makes you miserable, why do it? If they start playing the young guys more I might tune in but I just can't even look at the Morons.

Watching the Suns is sort of like looking at an accident. You really don't want to look but can't help it. I think the wheels are about to come off. Some interesting stuff is likely to happen.

Went out on a date tonight, so watched the game afterwards, and here are my thoughts:
1. Markieff is a d-bag. I don't think that was a flagrant 2, but it was a douchy play.
2. I wish we had Whiteside and Len.
3. Our back court just sucks. Bledsoe/Knight is more painful to watch than the old front court. They are not all that great individually, they suck as a tandem, and they are painful to watch.
4. I love PJ Tucker! That's right, I said it.
5. Goran Dragic is the man. It's been a long time since I've seen a player as efficient as Goran. I hope he keep up attacking the hoop and getting to the line. If he can get to the line 4-6 times per game and get better at that mid-range jumper, he is going to be a legitimate star.
6. I loved the Heat Chemistry. Goran and D-Wade cheering for the youngster while they were on the bench was awesome. Haven't seen much of that from the Suns since the arrival of the anointed one. If they get Bosh back next year and keep everyone else, they will be a dangerous team.
7. It hurts me to dislike almost every rotation player on my Suns.

Miami looks like the right team for him. I'm shocked to see him even play this well and I'm a Dragic fan myself. I thought Goran would struggle until Bosh came back because that Heat roster isn't all that good without him.

For Goran to be playing well along the likes of Michael Beasley, Dwayne Wade's corpse and Mario Chalmers, its remarkable.

21 pts in 15 mins of play on excellent efficiency. That's just ridiculous.

He loves Miami already and its easy to see why. I'm happy for him

The most valuable things that Goran picked up from Nash was not picking up his dribble when driving and not jumping to pass. Sadly Bledsoe hasn't learned either of these things. He drives to the hoop and either forces a shot or pass while in the air.

I've also noticed Tucker now has started shooting threes from the top of the key instead of just the corners. I love his effort and tenacity, but he is just not that smart of a player.

Hornacek did not have control of the Suns roster before the trades. The trades were made to right the ship, not sink it.

An inside on RealGM (one who has been reliable in the past and you check with mods from the forum to confirm on him) posted that Hornacek has lost the team and that the FO wishes he had more discipline with them.

May not mean much or anything at all but I thought I'll share.

I wish I could agree with you. Yes more practice would help but I don't think the Suns have the right coach plus McDonough is showing some miscues as a GM with player personnel. The Suns look to be headed the wrong direction fast. Some tough decisions are going to have to be made in the off season.

LOL! I'm sorry, but what drama. Because YOU don't like some moves by McD their miscues? I can't believe your bitching about the Minn. pick and more than once tonight. It will not be a first round pick, it was worthless. Has Wright met fan expectations? Clearly not, but I don't know what they thought he was. He's pretty much the same as he was in Dallas, but they have a much better front court and way more size that he played beside. Bledsoe and Knight are young and will learn to play together. They will improve, but expecting it 4 games in and no practice time is just silly. I can't believe anyone would realistically expect he Suns to make the playoffs after trading 5 players. They have a tough schedule and little time outside of games to figure it out. They will make tons of bad plays and suck the rest of the season, that should be expected. The Suns need leadership on the court and off more than anything. Now you guys are complaining about the coaching? You want them to push for the playoffs, but at the same time give lots of minutes to the youth. Make up your minds. They need talent at both forward positions. Ideally they will find that this summer and also find that leadership the team lacks as it's been missing all season.
