Suns @ Pacers game thread 1-24-18

It's hard to get excited about the Suns at garbage time when the Pacers thought the game was over at the end of the 3rd quarter.

I didn't think that saying, "Suns saving a little face. Down by 18 in garbage time with 3:29 to go." reflected excitement.

I have been posting about the importance of building a winning mentality on our team, which is overstaffed with young players and players past their prime.

The concept of 'at least they weren't totally embarrassed' was the only possible plus in a game full of minuses.

A lot of the scoring came from the bench. That is a negative for the starters, but a plus for the bench.

Yes, it is sad for us fans when we have to search for plusses.

I was only pointing out that the game was over at the end of the 3rd quarter. The Suns play in the 4th quarter has to be evaluated in this context... the Bucks were playing their bench.

Most teams that are losing badly usually trim the lead at garbage time.

It was a positive the Bucks had to bring starters back in the game in the final quarter.
