The Suns will continue their road trip, playing their fourth game in five nights Tonight they play the Pistons. Both teams are playing the second of back to back games except Detroit won in Philadelphia. The Suns face another big front line which does not bode well. See Paul Coro article at azcentral dated 1-11-14 for more.

Suns (21-14) at Pistons (15-22) … 5:30 p.m. Phoenix tip time

C: Miles Plumlee … Andre Drummond

PF: Channing Frye … Greg Monroe

SF: P.J. Tucker … Josh Smith

SG: Gerald Green … Kentavious Caldwell-Pope

PG: Goran Dragic … Brandon Jennings

Key Pistons injuries: Rodney Stuckey, recently returning from a sore shoulder, logged only three minutes Friday night but did not aggravate the shoulder.

That was a horrid start for Suns but they are making up for it.

Plumlee needs a strong PF to play beside him. Green is trying to get the Suns some shots at the basket by elevating over defenders.

Plumlee is as close to an inside game the Suns have. The Suns do not need PF's that look to be shooters.

Suns should keep running. Piston cant keep it up

The Pistons are doing a good job so far.

What I want to see more in games going forward, is more of Len and Goodwin.

Plumlee needs to stop with fancy one hand dunks on the road, especially when you are trailing this bad

The Suns do not have the beef to play with the bigger teams. Let's go back into development mode and forget about making a run at the playoffs. Bledsoe was the Suns superstar and he is out. Think lotto now.

It was more a combo guard superstar system, i doubt Bledsoe would have made any impact by himself without Dragic either

OMG, Len and Plumlee in the game together. Think I've died and gone to heaven.

EDIT: Eh, never mind. Back to Frye as the 4. It was nice while it lasted.

Funny, it is the combo of Dragic and Ish playing that seems to be getting the Suns back in the game. That cant last when Detroit man mountains return to the court

Ish has led the comebacks in the early 4th yesterday and today. His speed on O and hounding on D has led to lots of good looks.

I'm surprised they almost stole it, they did not play well at all. Really curious why DET went away from having Drummond or Monroe on the floor in the 4th.
