Houston 32-27
Denver 32-27
Phoenix 31-29

Tomorrow: Houston @ Denver
Monday: Denver @ Houston and Portland @ Phoenix

If Houston wins both:
Houston 34-27
Denver 32-29
Phoenix 32-29

If Denver wins both:

Denver 34-27
Phoenix 32-29
Houston 32-29

If they win one each:

Houston 33-28
Denver 33-28
Phoenix 32-29

Hopefully either Denver or Houston wins both. If Houston does that then we are the 8th seed. If Denver does that then we are tied with Denver in the loss column. Even though they have the tie breaker we have a game left to play against them.

Looking at the remaining schedule for Houston and Denver after their double meeting...

Houston:
@Dallas
@New Orleans (b2b)
Golden State
@Miami
New Orleans (b2b)

I would bet that Houston ends up with a 2-3 or 3-2 record.

Denver:
LA Clippers
@ Phoenix
Orlando (b2b but no dwight)
@ Oklahoma City
@ Minnesota (b2b)

I would bet that Denver ends up with a 2-3 or 3-2 record as well.

Looking at our schedule...
Portland
Oklahoma City
LA Clippers (b2b)
Denver
@Utah
San Antonio (b2b)

I can see us winning against Portland, Denver and against a resting San Antonio. Hence going 3-3. Hence we would have 34-31. So I guess we should hope that Houston loses both against Denver

Another HUGE night tonight... Need to win against Portland, and need Denver to beat Houston. If we lose and Houston loses, no blood... However, if we lose and Houston wins, are chances at the #8 slot are seriously hurt...

If the Suns and Nuggets both win, the Suns move into the #8 spot by virtue of owning the tiebreaker against the Rockets (better in-conference record).

This sets up a big night Wed. We play OK City. And Dallas (#7) plays Houston (#9) If I am reading this right, if we lose and Houston wins, they are back in at #8 by 1/2 game.

If we win, of course it is all good.

We're not gonna win Wednesday but good news is that neither is Houston. No way Mavs drop 3 in a row in such a crucial situation.

Bad news is that Utah also plays on Wednesday vs Portland (the team that we just killed)

My guess would be that after Wednesday, Utah will be #8, we will be at #9, Houston will drop to #10. The difference between the three seeding is HALF A GAME!!!

I think we would still be #8. Don't we have the tiebreaker over Utah?

Yea but right now we're half a game ahead of Utah. So that means if we lose and Utah wins then they'll have a one full game on us which means they'll be up half a game.

They have gone what, 20-10 over the past 30 games. That's more like a resurrection than eeking.

Best post all-star home record in the West. ;)

Point still stands. We might sneak in the playoffs as an 8th seed. We are not going to the finals with this roster no matter how well they have played as of late.

It's fools gold.

What's wrong with you? Now we can get our young studs some playoff experience, ala OKC, and be ready to take the big step next year. Oh, we don't have any good young players? Drat...

Contend for or build for a championship, these are the only sane options. Fortunately we choose neither.

and unfortunately, I believe what JC said about this being a "resurrection" is EXACTLY what our brain dead FO is going to believe when they go Warrick, Frye, Childress 2.0 again this summer, making sure we never see a title contender for another ten years.

Hey, a combo of a 39 year PG with a degenerative back, overpaid role players and mid first round picks, that's a championship stew right there!

Luckily most fans aren't that stupid and don't show up anymore. The Suns haven't sold out a game the entire year, and nobody talks about the team locally anymore. You would think $arver looking around his half empty stadium would send the message, but you'd also think selling draft picks and overpaying the trio of crap (Warrick/Frye/Chilz) would teach a lesson.

Not sure about the sell-out comments... but, this Thursday will be my 10th game I've been to since the beginning of March and I've been blown away by the size and the noise of the crowd!
Was at the Laker game back on saturday night (4/7th) and I would bet that that was a sell-out.
Given the mediocrity of this team, I've been very, very surprised at the level of support they've received. Very nice to see! :thumbup:

That's what they told the 1976 Suns.

Coincidentally, John Mcloud (sp?) is getting inducted into the ring of honor Wed. night. Hopefully, they'll show some highlights of that incredible run to fire up this year's against all odds team.

Glad you'll be there 82. We really need to pack the arena with loud fans every game from here on out.
