Poor coaching right there. You should know you need to foul ASAP

Suns have no idea what to do at the end of a close game.

JJ is beyond frustrating. He slows up on the freaking break... looks like he actually got blocked on the foul and then misses both FTs.

Also, Ayton rebounded really well, but had two times where he got offensive rebounds, had good position to shoot a 8 footer and immediately passed it out... and gave up a KILLER offensive rebound to their C.

Also, they just never ran ANYTHING for Ayton in the fourth... as usual, which is frustrating.

Good fight though tonight.

Final:

Rockets 108 - Suns 102

The Suns had their chances to win the game.

Argh. That was a winnable game. :( Suns executed poorly late in the game. :(

Jackson was the player I wanted most in that draft I thought he clearly had the bigger upside out of any of the top 4 but nope. Should of known when he couldn’t even look decent in summer league.

When Ayton did get the ball he was outside the lane where he could turn and do something with it.

As a Jackson supporter, he is becoming impossible to defend or justify

Good game can’t be mad losing a heart breaker to the Rockets.

Just gotta come with the same energy against the Pelicans Saturday

How anybody can still ask why they don't posy Ayton up is beyond me. I stopped counting at six missed opportunities on mismatch post-ups. Keep to ball high, go towards the rim. Done!

Also, Crawford should not be playing anymore.

I didn't see Holmes return to the court. Hope he is okay.

yeah... I've got to admit, I thought he was definitely the guy, especially over Tatum who I wanted no part of.

Man... what a difference a player swap would be there.

Well, they played pretty well. Hopefully they learned a couple lessons tonight for the future.

yeah... I've advocated giving him one more year, but if they need to include him in some kind of package to get a good PG, i'm leaning more and more in that direction, especially if they keep Oubre and have him and Bridges to man the 3.

But Bridges REALLY has to get that 3 ball down pat. Dude could be the rich man's (and clean man's) version of Bruce Bowen if he did that.

James Harden would be mediocre without preferential treatment. Watching some of these calls against the Suns is embarrassing.

He gets away with a lot of things but he'd still be a top player even with perfect officiating. Most of the top players get away with stuff, Harden has just taken it to another level by taking advantage of an unintended consequence of one of the rules changes. Hopefully the league will alter the way they call that foul when a player takes away the ground space for an airborne shooter. If they are there before it's clear where the shooter is jumping to, it shouldn't be a foul. But that will do nothing for all the offensive fouls that Harden, Lebron and many other stars get away with when they drive.

Yeah I thought Tatum had a low ceiling due to him being limited athletically. You go back and watch Jackson at Kansas and wow. I don’t know what happened to that guy.

Could you imagine Fox at point or Lauri playing PF instead of Bender.

The saving grace is it looks like Ayton and Bridges are going to be really good.

Yeah me too, wanted nothing to do with Tatum. Cheered when we got Jackson.

Big mistake it appears.

His shot is getting better, but he still makes stupid decisions.

I still think there is a chance he becomes a special player but he just kills us out there most nights. Even with his "up-side", if we didn't take a huge hit in value by trading him, I'd move him as soon as possible. Unfortunately I don't think he has any real value right now.

I hope Bridges is better than Bruce Bowen. If not that was a bad trade.

Bridges was a Sniper in college idk what happened to his shot.

I think he shot like 46% from corner 3s at Villanova.

Ayton needs to put on muscle and work on his inside game all off season. Trade JJ and or Warren for whatever you can get. Sick of Warren always hurt and Jackson only knows how to play bad basketball.

Other than that good game. Way to play competitive basketball. The defense has really been solid. Keep building this teams identity around that.
