I for one would not.

Having the best record in the league means only one thing. HCA. That's it. That's all. I'd be happy for that.

When you've been happy in June, it's hard to be ecstatic in January.

Negative. We've been there before and had many a Lakers team that peaked before the All-Star game, only to fail in the playoffs (see 2004).

Since all you care about are the playoffs why post the non-playoff teams? 7th best out of 8 playoff teams seems to support the notion they should care about HCA.

I'm well aware of that. I just found it odd Lakers fans would deminish the regular season and say the only thing it's good for is HCA when it would seem they would rely more heavily on having homecourt than anyone they would face in the playoffs.

Not that homecourt is a bad thing...hell no. But that's the ONLY thing that matters about it...to help you out when the real season starts.
