Booker has been doing iso-ball too much lately. And he's been gambling a lot on defense and allowing his man to get into the paint too easily.

Where's our offensive rebounding? A lot of watching going on while the shot is being put up, shows that everyone is almost out there for themselves.

I am in no way saying Jeff is without blame but I don't see how it is Jeff's fault when players are just straight passing to the other team or stand there as a ball bounces on the floor twice that goes back to the other team for an offensive rebound.
Is there a game plan for that?

It is unfathomable how bad this team is right now.

The way I see it, the players have quit on Hornacek. It's that simple. I'm not saying the Suns should be winning but they should not be playing this badly.

I honestly think some college teams could beat the Suns. Kansas, maybe Duke along with few other teams.

Fire everyone. Bring up the Bakersfield Jam and send these played down. They are a disgrace to the uniform.

I canˋt imagine another team having a less athletic frontcourt than ours. I mean Warren is our most athletic forward/center...

Can knight change directions? He seems to have so much trouble when pressured or when he does not get a free lane to the rim..

This is what should have happened five years ago. Instead, we fight for the 9th seed every year, and the 14th draft pick position.

Once Nash was no longer viable, they should have combusted the team right then and let it sink. But no, the noobs in the front office had to stay mediocre at all costs.

We've got some young talent, but they are learning bad habits right now. And there is very little talent. The best players on a weak team are Bledsoe and Morris, and neither of them is suiting up. Play the young guys to get them reps. Don't attempt to win, and get some forwards on this team that know how to score and defend.

And don't complain vociferously when the losing streaks continue. It's a blessing.

As some have noted, I do not understand the Warren benching. IMO, he deserves to start and benching him can only hurt his confidence.

I don't understand why Hornacek is such a complete idiot when it comes to minutes. Knight plays 44 mins, Price plays 27 mins and Tucker plays 32 minutes.

The only two players on this team who fans actually want to see and actually have a promising future on the team Warren and Booker, get 20 minutes each.

How can Warren and Booker not see 30+ mins at least in a blowout game?

I don't think that players have quit. They played hard in Oklahoma and Sacramento (until Chandler was ejected).

Blowing out by the Lakers just shows how bad coach Hornacek really is.

Good thing is with this level of play we will be in competition for the worst record. Bad thing is Sarver soon will fire Hornacek.

I just watched some of lowlights on this one but losing big to the Lakers after Philly seems it almost forces them to dump Hornacek immediately. He needs to go but I think we'd get more ping-pong balls if he finished out the season. If Jeff stays we could easily fall behind the Lakers and maybe grab the second best chance to win the lottery - Brooklyn just needs to keep playing at a .300 pace.

I can only imagine we are playing the vets to trade them. At this point there are not a lot of stars in this draft, so getting picks in later drafts might be the best option.

I don't know about Warren, but I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt about Booker, a rookie, who already has played more games in a shorter period of time than he's played in his entire life. He's got to be a little tired, especially after getting so many minutes the previous game.

Look at the bright side--it can't get any worse!

Right? Right?

They've lost to BOTH the Lakers and 76ers. It really can't get any worse unless they find a way to lose to the Generals.

The Suns and Cards get blown out by the Lakers and Seahawks on the same day.

Time to hide the razor blades and ammo in AZsportsfansville.

C'mon guys. There is more to life. Go outside, enjoy the sunshine!

Oops.

If you are going to tank the season, you might as go all the way. And make no mistake, that is what is happening. We are not going to surpass Philly in the tank-a-thon, but everyone else is toast. Who knows, JC and DAntoni may even get Philly playing.

So, where is the next James Harden, lurking on an NBA roster behind two stars?

Everyone on the team is tired. We were near the bottom of the league in games played going into December and now we lead the league (6 more than Cleveland for example). We just played 20 games in a 34 day stretch, that's absurd scheduling especially since it included the holiday season and 12 road games. Even if we hadn't lost Chandler for awhile and then Bledsoe we'd have been exhausted by that schedule.

On the plus side, this team was never really going to compete so at least this has reined in expectations. Hopefully Jeff will make the most of it by using the young guys more regularly as the season progresses.

Difference is Seahawks are actually a good team so getting ass kicked by them isn't as bad as getting ass kicked by Lakers.

Plus. Neither team had incentive to win. Suns are a beatdown team and the Cards were already on the bye.

I just never thought that Byron Scott would ever out coach another coach in the league but he did. It's quite unbelievable to lose in this fashion to a team coached by Scott and a team with marginal talent at best.

This is silly. Did Jeff outcoach the other guy every time the Suns won? And marginal talent? What the heck do you think populates our roster? We are a bad team in large part because we too have marginal talent. And Byron Scott has outcoached many a coach in his career or did you think he earned his Coach of the Year award on his good looks? He's a little too set in his ways for my tastes but did you notice how we were torn apart by their 2 combo guard offense?

Len is fumbling his way through our recent games because of a sore hand, not because of Jeff. And Jeff didn't toss our other center out of the game nor tear the meniscus on our best player. And he certainly didn't schedule 4 games in 5 nights at the end of a 34 day stretch that included 20 games, 12 of them on the road. Look at those two lineups and tell me we are that much different than the lowly Lakers. You can't because we aren't. Their best players are young and in need of development, same with us.
