this game was over before it started.

Trivia note: The Patriots have never won a Super Bowl in which they won the opening coin toss... this game was over before the kickoff folks

On that Brady fumble and recovery for the Eagles, it looked to me like once #55 got around the guard, the guard grabbed him and pulled him towards Brady about five or six inches. If he would have just given him a little shove instead, it might have been enough to let Brady throw the pass instead of getting it knocked out of his hand.

Who knows?

Seeing the eagles celebrating makes me kinda sad and wondering if I will ever get to celebrate a SB victory for the cards in my lifetime.
I had the same thought, seems pretty unlikely considering our history, and our best teams in franchise history not getting it done

Prob worst pats def of any of their super bowls. Eagles had it factor all year and tons of luck in addition with how bad nfc was this year.

Doesn’t count :)

I can't decide if it more resembled and Arena League game or a Pro-Bowl. It was ridiculous either way and the NFL needs fixing.

y'all can keep hatin if you want to. It took Philly four tries to finally get a ring ...and those guys earned it tonight. Congrats to them.

making excuses about how good or bad any part of the patriots may or may not be is pure crap... The Pats were the defending champions, and they beat every contender in the AFC on their way back to the SB... nobody would be claiming any part of them were weak had they won.
To be the Champs you gotta beat the Champs...and thats what Philly did.

I watched the iggles celebrate. Like many of you I wonder if we will ever get that chance,... but those who have never won it are slowly dwindling to zero....I thought it was cool to see that 95 year old dude in the stadium who has been following the iggles from the beginning and I thought I hope I am lucky enough to see my team win it before I die just like he was, lol...just hope it aint so damned close!

Rather than dissing the iggles... those boys over on Hardy Dr need to climb off of whatever magic D they been riding on and figure out a way to get us there.

Philly was 7-9 last year. Today they are world Champions and the proud owners of a Lombardy Trophy.

On that Brady fumble, I was sure it was going to be overturned by the tuck rule again. Or, some phantom whistle before the snap or something. Or the official just coming out and declaring that Tom Brady didn't mean to fumble, New England retains possession.

If I’m a Detroit fan, I am NOT real happy Patricia’s coming over to Coach.

The Patriots defense has overachieved most of his tenure there. Their best player in the front 7 this season was Alan Branch who the Cards got rid of ten years ago.

Great game to end the 2017 NFL season.

Eagles need to franchise tag Foles to keep him for next year until Wentz comes back. EDIT: I checked to see about Foles contract---he's actually already signed with the Eagles for next season. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nf...-on-long-term-extension/ar-BBIGfpY?li=BBnba9I

Pats will regret letting JimmyG go to SF.

Eagle fans will trash the city/burn cars/trash each other.
Foles is already under contract for next season.

Next time anyone wants to call Arians going 8-8 a miracle with his back up QBs can be pointed to Pederson. What he did was an actual miracle. Back up QB/LT, underdogs in every playoff game and beating the defending NFC champs and then one of the greatest dynasties ever.
Eagles were without their top QB, LT, special teams guy and a couple more and still won.
