After Shaquille O'Neal scored 45 against Toronto on Friday, Raptors star Chris Bosh said O'Neal had benefited from officials ignoring his three-second lane violations.
"I heard what Chris Bosh said, and that's strong words coming from the RuPaul of big men," O'Neal said. "I'm going to do the same thing (in their next meeting) I did before - make him quit. Make 'em quit and complain. It's what I do."
O'Neal is the only NBA player other than Stephon Marbury and Bernard King to record 40-point games with four teams.
"I warned these guys he can do that," Lakers coach Phil Jackson said.

I'm the only player," he said, "who looks at each and every center and says to myself, 'That's barbecued chicken down there.'

That's some great stuff.

I actually feel Shaq's been slighted a bit by them calling fouls every time he drives. Just because he knocks someone over doesn't mean it's a foul. If the dude is 1/2 his size and isn't set, a 320 lb guy is going to bowl him over. Same thing as watching a pg trying to defend a PF.

Having a REAL center is pretty cool. No matter what happens it's been nice to have a big physical center to bully the other team for a change.

If Chris Bosh is Rupaul, then Amare is Mrs Doubtfire. Bosh actually plays defense and rebounds...

Wtf have you been watching?

Amare and Bosh are pretty similar players, Bosh is averaging one more board per game. His athletic ability allows him to be a good help defender, but he isnt very good at man-defense.

Bosh doesn't have the ability to dominate the way Amare does. Not sure how much that ability is worth since it is not seen frequently, but it is a big difference between Amare and Bosh's respective games.

Now that I think about it, I probably haven't watched Bosh play enough to know whether or not he is as dominant on offense as Amare. I got the impression from watching him that his offensive game is more similar to Garnett's than Amare's.

Shaq is starting to get a little too full of himself :nono:

Didnt say one was better than the other, (though i think Amare is more athletic than Bosh, despite being 20-30lbs heavier)

Just said that their games are similar, Amare being more of a finisher than Bosh

No, last summer, Bosh did some videos that made it to the web, and I believe in one of them he dressed up as a woman. I think Shaq was referring to that, not that Bosh plays like a girl.

Amare is nasty. YOU BITE YOUR TONGUE.

Haha this is one of the funniest things Shaq has ever said regarding another player.

I'm not an Amare basher, but let's call a spade a spade. Bosh is much more the complete player than Amare.

Im DYING to hear your reasoning for this.

Better team defender, better low post moves, better passer, better man to man defender.

Shall I go on?

I think you're overrating Bosh a bit. He is better than Amare in some things (mainly defensive aspects of the game), but Amare is better at others. Side-by-side, I'd say Bosh might have a slight edge, but certainly not as wide a gap as you make it out to be.

Amare never allowed Shaq to drop 45 & 11 on him..

Bosh is soft, have you already forgot how badly Dwight Howard crapped on him and his "help defense" in the first round of the playoffs last year?

You've got to be kidding me!

I didn't do anymore than what Shaq did to Bosh....

I do think that they are close to equal, with Amare stronger offensively (because of athleticism, not because of moves) and Bosh stronger defensively. Bosh is the better overall player.

Bosh is soft, have you already forgot how badly Dwight Howard **** on him and his "help defense" in the first round of the playoffs last year?

You've got to be kidding me!

How many times has Amare ever even guarded Shaq? How many times has Shaq done that to hundreds of other players in the league?

If Bosh is soft, then Amare has to be considered equally as soft. Dunking on people doesn't make you any less soft on the other side of the ball.

Whoa.. Thats quite the different tone from:

Make up your mind

Touche'

You ask me who is the more complete player, I'll tell you Bosh, without a second thought. I still have hope that Amare can turn the passion that he has on the offensive side to the defensive side. Bosh is a little better than Amare in a lot of areas, which is why I said much better.

You ask me who I'd want to build my franchise around, I'll tell you Amare.

It is closer than I initially stated, but Bosh still trumps Amare in more catagories.

Bosh isn't any better defensively or on the boards than Amare. And he is less consistent too, has been for his entire career.

And what are those low post moves you are talking about? Can't see them, he is more of a highpost player and a worse shooter than Amare too.

Bosh IS Amare, with less scoring abilities.

Bosh has a turnaround jumper in both directions, something that Amare can't do. Bosh has babyhooks in the lane that Amare doesn't have. Bosh can use his left hand/right for more than dunking. Come on... seriously?

Bosh can't even shoot over 50%. Come on... seriously?

Jermaine O'Neal could also do all that, and shoot 40%... awesome..

Those are shooters that you mention. If they shoot in the high 40's, they are fine. Anything 50 and more is amazing. We are just spoiled because Nash can average 50%

Post players are usually the ones who get 50's or 60's
