I don't blame Whiz for Clancy, he should of been fired.
I kinda have to blame him for Bill Davis, at least signing off on that one.
I would point out though that we have lost a wee bit of defensive talent, even though it harms my argument against Davis, somewhat.

Well I'll say it. The Cards miss Dansby's experience. The thing I've talked about that people overlooked with Dansby was his ability to see a play developing and get himself in the right place to either stop it or at least take away one option. For example seeing that the FB is slipping out into the flat and moving over to cover him.
Washington will be a solid player for the Cards but he's a rookie and simply can't be expected to be able to read an offense like Karlos did.
But that still doesn't take away from the fact that some of our defensive alignments are real puzzlers. Especially the ones that leave big gaps in the line or a too light front four. Or that the defense was almost as bad last year but the offense covered for them.
