CC: Indy v NE?
KW: Can't count out Pats

CC: Trick plays? Sean Payton being creative. Cowher more conservative?
KW: Cowher believed in trick plays being part of offense when you have a solid base to work from.

CC: Where is Bill Cowher going?
KW: no idea. He would be sought after if he comes back in the future

CC: Why AZ? What was the difference maker?
KW: Comfortable with Bidwills. Number of league "friends" who said, take another look at this team.

CC: Do they have playoff personnel
KW: Yes there is enough talent, need to address OL

Likes the Colts, but can't count out the Pats.

Cowher used to advise him to focus on what is most important in planning games and that is to win the games. (I like) Cower wanted several "basics" accomplished every game, but outside of that, Cowher let Whis have fun and be creative.

I definately got the impressing that following the first interview, he wasn't too excited about the Cards. Watching his press conference, I think it seems pretty evident that he wasn't sold on the team after the first interview.

It wasn't until after hearing from several league friends who all said to look at the Cardinals that he began to see the posibilities.

Colin would love for us to be a winner. I like him because he isn't the pretentious east coast media type ESPN always trots out. He's a west coast guy and he's honest. Frankly, I'm shocked he's with BSPN because he's so opposite of typical BSPN.

Yeah that was the best part of the interview when Colin said he has been pulling for the Cards to start winning for a while now but has only been let down. Now I don't remember how Whis responded to that lol.

Agree. He is one of the few who I can actually listen to for awhile w/o throwing up. Dan Patrick is a jacka$$.
