Ravens now have had five players and four staffers test positive for COVID this week, sources tell ESPN. Thursday night’s game vs. the Steelers still is on, as scheduled, but one source warned that further positives could mean postponing it.

While the #Ravens deal with positive COVID-19 tests for some staff members and players, one option being considered is for the team to fly out day-of-game on Thursday. It’s a short flight and a night game. Not ideal, but not unprecedented, either.

The #Steelers players are very upset. But if this keeps them safer, that is a win for all. COVID forces everyone to adjust whether they like it or not. Now, for the first time in weeks, a game is pushed a few days.

The #Ravens had 7 players positive in 3 days, including most recently: Matt Skura, Pat Makari and Calais Campbell, plus several coaches and their top 2 RBs. Commissioner Roger Goodell made the decision with health and safety in mind.
