No they won't. I refuse to let them do that to me.
Ha, you have your moments 40...
No they won't. I refuse to let them do that to me.
I'll go as far as to say top 7 worst? how's that for the tie-breaker? a bet within a bet.
I'll take it
as of today, weren't they top seven worst? and after today, if they eke up a spot or two, not to worry, the shellacking we're about to take in three straight road games should take care of that right quick.
Going into today the Cards were 29th in points allowed. 27th in yards.
Thanks to the amazing ineptness of the Rams offense that should change.
Weird I looked at wrong column on NFL.com.
get your stats from www.profootball-reference.com
The best archived stats on the web that I've been able to find. Unfortunately they don't get the stats from the most recent Sunday/Monday up as quickly as nfl.com.
That site has them 26th in pts allowed at 183 going into today.
Weird I've got it open right now and it has 183 points and 29th.
The Team Index page also has them at 29th.
Maybe 29=26 in Chicago where its always colder than Texas.
I will say that PP, CC, Washington, and Acho are all 25 and under. That's a good start.
that is a good start... but CC is a goner and we all know it.
OK I think I've got it. The Cards were 29th in ppg going into today. You can't really go by points allowed right now because of the bye weeks.
And Dan Williams is a super-stud but doesn't get enough PT for some ungodly reason. Coach had an excuse to prop him up in his Friday presser and instead chose to complain that he came into camp fat.
You can when that is the bet.
Well of course when the bet doesn't settle until the end of the season and by then every team will have played the same # of games and the Cards will be 30th in points allowed.
Nope.
Our few good players are novices. The rest of the guys are retirees. They'll get torched most of the rest of the year.
Like I said throughout this thread our D has enormous potential but right now they are going to suck eggs while they adjust to the NFL from Professional College ball.
Williams really impresses me with how little he gets moved by double teams.
We have the beginnings of a good defense, but we need more talent across the board.
I vote we focus on defense with the next draft. Get one or two more good starters, and also add depth.
Resign CC, plug a hole or two in FA, get Rhodes and Toler back, and maybe, just maybe, we can compete with SF next year.
What do you know? You are a fan of a Big 12 team. They haven't played defense in that conference in 10 years.
