Three more former Nittany Lions will take their shot at NFL roster spots after signing free-agent contracts.
Anwar Phillips, a two-year starter at cornerback, signed with the New Orleans Saints; Chris Harrell, a two-year starter at safety, with the Arizona Cardinals and Matthew Rice, a three-year starter at defensive end, with the Buffalo Bills.
Harrell, a 6-foot, 210-pounder from Euclid, Ohio, was second on the Nittany Lions with 88 tackles as a senior. He chose Arizona over offers from Washington and Tampa Bay.
"I'm real excited about it," he said. "(The Cardinals) did real good in the draft. I feel they're the best up-and-coming team in the NFL right now."

Four - the entire starting secondary: Safety Calvin Lowry (Tennessee) and cornerback Alan Zemaitis (Tampa Bay) were selcted in the fourth round. Cornerback Anwar Phillips has signed with the New Orleans Saints, and safety Chris Harrell with the Cardinals.
