Here is a question for all you guys who are upset with this trade? Would you rather us make the deal with McFadden or just cut him in a month? It seems like the staff wasn't happy with McFadden so why not get value for him? He has a sizable contract so would it be out of the realm of possibility to see him get cut? By trading him we get a QB to groom for the future. And anyone who is pissed we took a 3rd string QB then you are a moron. If you want us to take a QB starter in the 5th round you are delusional.

What possible reason do we need John Skelton. Isn't the team all in with Leinart? Isn't Leinart young enough to plan long term. The odds of John seeing the field is slim and none...and slim just left
How do you subtract a
starter to justify this move? Then to give Pitt a 6th on top....inexcusable

Im perfectly ok with us trading McFadden away, actually im glad they did but im just thinking it was too much to give up a 6th also. i can understand if the Steelers would not trade otherwise and the Cards are REALLY high on Skelton. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what they say.

Name one team with only 1 QB on the roster. Every team has a backup QB who they think can come in and play should the starter get hurt. Football is a violent position and not every team can have a Manning.

Adding that 6th round pick to the trade bugs the hell out of me also.

I agree except the Cardinals were playing under game conditions. Maybe there was the fear of losing Skelton. Also the Cardinals were obviously unhappy with McFadden and didn't want to pay him $4.75 million in 2010.

We have Leinart and Anderson but i do agree with your point about QB depth. We NEEDED to take a QB and preferably a developmental QB with good size, projection and QB know how and i think Skelton is the best fit in this draft. I had us taking him in this draft and im happy we took him.

I'm hoping for Syd'Quan Thompson with the next pick. Secondary depth is essential now.

Not a fan of Thompson at all. He is small and slow and imho wont make it in the NFL.

it was like a free pick with their 6th rounder since they picked up one from the saints trade.... mcfadden blows... ZERO i say ZERO interceptions... what a playmaker were losing.....NOT .... quit crying, the dude is slow and benefited from the blitzing scheme in pittsburgh

The best remaining CB is A.J. Jefferson from Fresno State

ESPN has already had a quick spot comparing Leinart and Skelton. I came in on the end of it but obviously the thought of life after/beyond Leinart and how Skelton will fit is already being thought about by someone besides us.

First ASU guy taken i think in ILB Travis Goethel by the Raiders. Decent guy but has a few holes in his game

Nah they had an olineman go in the 3rd round I believe. Goethel isn't overly impressive, I'd love to get Vontaze on our team when he declares.

Tremendous value for the Bengals in taking WR Dezmon Briscoe from Kansas. He was projected as an early second round pick but for some reason has dropped a lot.

No bud the defensive tackle you're referrring to was from U of Arizona and not ASU.

I missed some of the picks, but I believe that Josh Moore of K-State should be the next pick.

My bad i missed Lauvoa going in the third. I thought 187 was referring to DT Earl Mitchell who went in the third also.

Im REALLY hoping for Jamar Chaney here he was ranked the 2nd best ILB by some draft boards and i just cannot understand why he's still on the board. Come on Cardinals make it happen make the rest of the NFL pay for their concentration lapse.

If we want him.... The war room doesn't. That is what I am learning.
