Okay, I could accept 28 catches a season, but 372 yards and less than 2 TDs a season for a speed demon deep threat? He's a return specialist, nothing more.

Ginn had 36 catches for 556 yards and 5 TDs last year, for a 15.4 ypc average. If he can get somewhere between last year's numbers and his career average, he'd be pretty effective at stretching the field.

Cooper, Bucannon, and Niklas make this an outstanding draft so far!! That's a very physical trio of men! Exactly what's needed in the NFC West.

Clarified second round grades were picked clean

Yeah...they waited and took what was left. I'm actually pretty shocked the Cards were so complacent but they got a good fit who wasn't going to be there in round 3 so it turned out ok.

Marcus Martin was the first pick I liked the 49ers had. He is one tough guy in the run game.

I was just about to push the quote button and point out his skillet-hands tendencies. 'Drops less than he used to' is not a ringing endorsement. Sorry, I am not drinking the Ginn koolaid.

I'm legitimately puzzled by everyone deciding he's suddenly the 'guy' who can transform our offense. I seriously thought people were joking. No lie.

How do you go from stretching the field to transforming our offense? WOW!!

If Nix is still there, I can't imagine how we pass him up. Williams contract coming close to the end and his backup blew out his knee late last season.

How about Dri & D'Anthony? Hopefully one will be healthy for each game.

Chris Boswell-K

my guess.

Long-distance kicker = GAME CHANGER.

Draft cupboard's looking a lil' bare now.
Up to BASK to find some "hidden gems" ie; Ellington.

Mark in SC :)

Kent Somers tweet referenced above. Keim stated that the 2nd ronud pick was tough because their board was picked pretty clean. Early run in round 2 was on De's and OLBs.

Thanks.

That early run had me saying "Dammit!" just about every time. Lots of talent rolled off the board right there.

Give me Defense here in the 3rd. They will be extremely thinned out in rounds 4-7.

Still a few guys left. Louis Nix, Kareem Martin, Will Sutton, Carl Bradford?
