Bwahahaha!

This is a joke, right?

We signed Ginn to return punts and kicks, right? Please, oh please, tell me we weren't stupid enough to think this scrub would make significant contributions on offense?

you didn't type that with a straight face did you?

draft another TE

We can draft another TE to block posts? or pull a whisenhunt and refuse to watch any film of your epic failures- he left that to the Cardinal Fans! As he went to SD an ran the ball to re establish his career- After running less than any HC in history and losing his job in Arizona.

just click his name and follow the bouncing ball to profile and then user lists or something

LIAC is alright though, he just doesnt like the pick.

What Keim said in latest press conference worries me. He said "Our board has been picked pretty clean. Obviously other teams had similar board to ours." Could this be a reason that we seem to be reaching?

36 receptions for nearly 600 yards is decent enough as a WR3, especially as a part of a receiving corps that you can easily say was less talented than ours.

No one we were going to pick was going to be a #1 stretch the field type of threat. Until we're replacing Fitz, we're not going to draft/sign anyone with a higher talent level than Ginn when it comes to stretching the field.

You added nearly 250 yards per season to his yardage count. Nice try!

Not an exciting draft. Seems more meat and potatoes.

It is. And IMO, that's what makes you a much better team especially coming off of 10 wins, top 10 D and top 15 O. We shockingly have few holes, and they are at meat and potato spots.

Getting Valdheer really opened this draft up for us to go that route. I dig it.

Look at the numbers, which do not lie. Less than 30 receptions, less than 400 yards, less than 2 TDs a season. SCRUB.

You don't want no scrubs? A scrub is a guy who can't get no love from you?

Agree with all of this.

The key like you said was getting JV, huge move

That's not his role in Arians offense. You have to commit a safety to him, and he has blazing speed. he opens up the field for Larry & Floyd. Two shots his way per game.

He also drops less than he used to as well, so when you target him deep two or three times a game, more likely to make the catch.

He's a perfect fit to take the top off the defense with this team, which is perfect for the big WRs on the outside we feature who aren't speedsters but have terrific hands.

I felt better before reading this. It's not very encouraging.

(Edit: never mind just saw he was referencing rd 2)

I was just about to push the quote button and point out his skillet-hands tendencies. 'Drops less than he used to' is not a ringing endorsement. Sorry, I am not drinking the Ginn koolaid.

I'm legitimately puzzled by everyone deciding he's suddenly the 'guy' who can transform our offense. I seriously thought people were joking. No lie.

He isn't a guy who transforms it by his performance. Frankly, any speedster that can catch 2 or 3 balls a game removes the safety from the equation, which means we can get more one on one opportunities with Fitz and Floyd..THAT is what transforms the offense. You can't double or even help on both of those guys, and it's truly pick your poison. And it's something that we've missed forever...but in Arians offense that component is very important.

If it were just that though, it's not enough to justify Ginn's contract. But the KR/PR skill makes it a great fit and gets Badger and PP off of special teams. Win win win all around.
