I'm not ready to join just yet, but you can send me an informational brochure so I can think about it.

As someone who follows the game and has decent scouting capabilities, I am embarrassed at this moment. I feel as if I put all of my eggs in one basket and dropped them on the floor. I'm done kidding myself....Matty is done in Arizona.

Someone made me promise not to say anything bad about him until he plays again. So I won't.

I think if Leinart had any confidence up to this point, Whiz just torpedoed it and sunk his battleship.

so disappointed. If Leinart can't beat out a sucky Derek Anderson I was obviously wrong supporting the guy.

hell, I STILL don't know about Toast.

Agreed.

I have never said anything more than, he deserves a chance to show what he can do. He has the potential, but will it translate into production ?

I don't know.

We will have to see. I don't think Anderson starting one preseason game spells the end of everything, unless Leinart "gives up" and pouts about it, but if that happens I don't want him as our QB anyway.

Nothing wrong with some competition.

If that is the case, then Leinart is not a NFL quarterback. If he is that fragile then I don't know how he has lasted that last 3 years.

Here here... I was way wrong. I'm still not sure if ML has officially been benched but it looks like he'll need to tear it up off in the 2nd half at Chicago if wants a chance.

Count me in. Even if Matt starts game 1, which I highly doubt, I didn't think for a second that there would be a QB controversy this preseason. I thought Matt could easily beat out a guy like Derrick Anderson. I was wrong.

solid crow thread.

I thought he was probably dust by Week 4 or 5, but I didn't expect him to be in a battle for his job and possible lose it to a pathetic QB before the season even started!

I'm not here to join, but I'm interested in pacing outside the door, maybe smoking a cigarette, listening intently through a crack in the door, and rubbing my forearms for a while.

Is that okay?

Done is not the proper nomenclature, Toast please.

no no no

"Toast" for him is a term of endearment, as notated by many on this board. As it stands, he is not worthy of the nomenclature. "Done" is the proper term.

Umm. Its a little premature.

Not buying in until I see who trots on opening day.

Listen man, did I want to have to start this thread? Hell no.

But at this point, its pretty impossible to refute that no matter what talent he has in that body, he is not who Wiz wants. He doesn' thave the big arm Wiz has shown to like, he doesnt have the "get your hands dirty" attitude, and hes not a gamer like Wiz. It is what is. He probably WOULD leave for Seattle and have success with cheerleader Pete. It seems they are two peas in a pod.

But if you ask me do I belive in Wiz or Matt....

LOL

No question necessary. See ya!

1. You weren't required to start this thread. You choose too.

2. You believe that you know what Whiz wants and expects, and, further, conclude that Matt can't meet these expectations.

3. No one asked if you believed in Matt or Whiz. We knew the answer.

I'll pass on the mind reading, and instant conclusions on the most recent decision... and simply await the outcome.
