The creativity is obviously there but too sloppy on defense. For some reason the US has seemed more exposed to the long ball in the JK era. Nice to see Dempsey rewarded for all his hard work.

Thank god its just a friendly game. Anyway, we have a new manager, and there are some younger players to prove their worth. And agree, fog is really killing the game. I expect us to turn things around in 2nd half, go slovenia.

An away win vs any of the former Yugo teams is impressive. The defense has got a way to go, but the offense is looking better.

Well, we did turn things around in second half and scored a 2nd goal plus 2x goal post, the ball just didnt wanted to go in. Anyway, the defense wasnt good at all, but its understandable, its friendly match afterall, our guys played under new manager, and there was some promising lads in the squad proving their worth. The game could easily ended differently, if our guys could just finish better, but it is, what it is, i enjoyed the game. @Shzm13, a win against a yugo team is always impressive, even if its friendly, and thanks for the welcome.

Three goals, a win in Europe for the first time in forever, and a big confidence builder going into the winter international break. Dig it! Yes, the defense had problems today, but they have been by far the best unit on the team under JK. ***** wasn't in again, which hurt us. Btw, anyone hear about how Lichaj is doing? He's our left back when healthy, IMO.

I thought Fabian Johnson was the man of the match for me. He had a fantastic game. Glad to see Buddle in the lineup and rewarded with an early goal. Glad to see Altidore step up and take that penalty.

How is it that our players seem to hit the ball over the bar from inside the 6 yard box time and time again. It should have been 2-0 early but Altidore hit it over the bar from a cross from Buddle.

That said, this team played scared in the 2nd half and probably should have been equalized upon.

Glad to see us score 3 goals. Nice end of the year for us.

Oh, and one more thing. Chandler got a bad rap on the night. Yes, he played the defender onside on the first goal, but was incorrectly called for playing the defender on the 2nd one. Goodson was the one that played him on, not Chandler.

I disagree that Lichaj is the LB of the future.

An absolute mystery as to why he ever sees the field. Happy for Buddle, but would much rather see Agudelo up there who actually has a future.

Disagree with Buddle. I still think he can be a positive affect on this team going forward. Agree with Bradley. People assume that because he was the coach's son that he didn't deserve his position. He is much better than Edu for example.

He was awful in the world cup, plays in the 2nd division in Germany and will be almost 34 by the next world cup. Little chance he'll be on the roster, so he has little upside. Agudelo has shown just as much in international competition and isn't even 20!!!

Awful? He barely got off of the bench. Nice try.

I can justify Buddle over Agudelo because he is playing 90 min for his club where Agudelo can't get off of the bench in NY. (not necessarily his fault0 Agudelo is also playing in the U-23's right now as well.
