excellent episode!! Rick and Michonne playing hide the salami was long over due....she has performed in the "Partner" capacity for a long time now while rick went chasing blondes.
Jesus is an interesting character...I woulda shot him the first time...dude is way to proficient in hand to hand to leave standing behind you...not shooting him cost them a truckload of much needed goods and stymied Rick's afterglow..
anyone else thinking Jesus might be another of Nigan's?

I don't think so. He seems way too sophisticated for that outfit. He's more lightsaber than blaster. If he wanted to, he could have slit everybody's throat in their sleep and and brought the crew in to enjoy the town. Can't wait to see where this is going.

Agreed. This kind of character we haven't seen yet.

In terms of the Glenn stuff, i think anybody who has googled it or knows the comics knows what is coming. I think they are using a somewhat cheap writing device to get casual fans to think....wow this guy is the ultimate survivor before the Negan story line finishes. It seems really contrived to me for that setup.

At any rate, this new character is definitely interesting. He looks "clean" and has some hand to hand fighting skills. Plus he can pick pocket people and get out of ropes pretty easily? Interesting set of skills that says "trained" to me. Maybe ex-government agent? Just not sure where this is going because it seems out of place for the Negan story line no?

Other than Rick and Daryl being idiots, it was a solid filler episode.

Im surprised the writers didn't decide speed up the video and add a Yakety Sax track to their scenes. It was kinda ridiculous IMO.

that's pretty awesome.

I love that in the last episode, Rick was completely tormented about killing whatever her name was, the show really driving home how much she meant to him, flashing to their "relationship", which never seemed all that much anyway... and 55 minutes later, he's right back on the horse with a long-time favorite.

and can someone explain to me how Jesus got up on the roof? Is Rick that awful at tying knots or does Jesus have supernatural speed? Regardless, he seems intriguing.

Yeah, that was a little weird. He said the knots weren't tight enough to make him zombie food, but he escaped in seconds. He was also a good fighter though--clearly we don't have the full measure of his capabilities. In the show, anyway.

We are in season 6 and at the current pace the tv series probably won't catch up with the comics until season 15.

So those that are moaning about TWD not being good TV anymore and just watching it because everyone else does, prepare yourself.

Enjoyable episode, michonne and Rick seems weird to me. Sucks they lost the truck and it seemed avoidable but it was entertaining.

Jesus may be something big? They obviously wanted us to feel that way

This is the first episode where I was really bothered by the stupidity of the characters. (Well, the writers for writing such stupidity.)

Find a truck with a ****-ton of food and supplies? DRIVE IT STRAIGHT HOME. Someone ambushes you, sets a diversion / trap, steals your massive supply truck, but you're able to locate and apprehend him? Put a bullet in his head. Sorry, the world has changed. You need to eliminate any problems you come across.

And of course they leave the truck conveniently unattended to GET OUT and chase super-ninja, who has already shown that he can kick your ass and is a master thief. Oh look, said truck is parked right next to a lake. Welp, in it goes. Oh, and, let's bring this guys home with us. He hasn't caused enough trouble already!

Just lazy and annoying writing.

he seems he is going to become part of the group, killing him or ditching him again would have gotten rid of him instead. I definitely thought take the truck straight home and then look some more multiple times but then it would have been harder to introduce Jesus.

Plus it has been 2 months and they haven't seen anyone anywhere so they were under the guise of, we are alone out here.

I enjoyed the episode. Just figured out I will be out of town for two episodes in march, going to have a nice 2 episode binge night when I get home :)
