Someone gets gutted next week and rosary beads are laying in a pool of blood at the scene ( coming attraction for next week ). Hmmmm. Gotta believe Morgan is involved in the search for Carol ( final scene).

I'm just guessing, but I think Carol finished off the walker just outside the gate (the one that had the rod through its cheek) and then just hung her rosary there. One of the last things she said to Daryl was something like, "you were right... You should have killed him... I knew it when you said it." I think she might have gone "godless" and is going out to wreak havoc on Dwight, or perhaps even Negan himself.

I just read an article that said in the comics, a different character takes the arrow from Dwight in almost idental circumstances. So perhaps, that will spare this other character (Glenn, perhaps?)

I am curious how the faction vs faction thing is going to work out. Id have to say my least favorite part of the show is those battles because they are so over the top unrealistic just like last nights battle. Just because dude Eugene bit a shlong blondies whole group became completely useless and easily slain? I'm still loving it but I do prefer tense moments with zombies as they feel much more legit and realistic than the huge gun battles.

yeah, that was pretty ridiculous. I mean, they had like 6 guys with guns. the second the first shot was fired. you'd think someone would waste the two people standing right in front of them.

they were out in the open and had an assailant in the woods under cover....to their knowledge possibly more than one.... it makes perfect sense they would choose to duck and cover before anything else.... dickless was trying to shoot Eugene afterwards but found it necessary to use his bullets on a few walkers instead...and he did manage to get one in Eugenes side anyway... in all honesty,....Eugene bites his dick then gunfire breaks out from the woods,...it is understandable he was more concerned with getting Eugene off of him rather than worrying about shooting him at that point....

I loved the makeup scene between Abe and Eugene...

"I apologize Eugene, you sure know how to bite a Dick!".... very much what I expect from Abraham.

One thing I totally missed while watching "The Same Boat" was that the escaping Saviour had Daryl's bike. For some reason when he yelled "where'd you get the bike," it went right over my head. I thought he just meant, where'd you come from/are there others--

--So it was even more of a surprise for me when Dwight showed up. Funny, I didn't have him pegged as leadership material. I'm assuming that his burned face is a punishment from Negan? Whatever it was seems to have "recommitted" him to kneeling. Of course, I don't know how he feels about kneeling people right about now...

my thoughts are he must have clipped daryl in the shoulder...mostly just because he has been wanting to shoot him....and so he cant fire the crossbow.

Carol has become a complete psycho.

The writing let the team down in this episode IMO...too many holes......still enjoyed it,...was actually kinda literally on the edge of my seat there at the end....but that was partly cause I had to piss....

I was thinking that as well.... I thought maybe they were going to do a savior attack of sorts,...maybe demonstrate that the folks from Alexandria are not totally helpless without the walking dead originals...
at least they are manning the watch towers now....
interested to see where they take this...with next week being the season finale it really can't go anywhere good.

I remember Rick and Michonne being all cuddly and stating quite factually they will NOT lose what they have now...part of it was professing their mutual love I''m sure,..but it also included Alexandria, the homes, the peace, the hot showers...etc...

last night's episode was totally the plot moving characters forward, instead of the characters moving the plot forward. pretty lazy writing... and very easy trap to fall into, but this week's episode was egregious with it.
