Anybody know this guy? I do not approve of the way he is raising his son.

My father always taught me to be an honest man. One team, one love

Apparently this is the new trend. My girlie's parents teach their son to ditch any teams that are doing bad. Ths is not a joke. Coincidental that he is a Yankee, Cleveland Cavalier, Boston Celtic and Cardinals (for now) fan? If you dont want him to grow any balls, why not just castrate your son at birth? This is disgusting. I just feel bad for the kid.

I think you should teach your kids not to give up when the going gets tough ... not just in sports, but in every aspect of life.

Meh... don't know the whole story.

Maybe the kid is a big Adrian Peterson fan, and since he had both jerseys, was switching back and forth based on which running back was on the field. I'd have wanted to do something like that when I was that age, not because I was suddenly a Vikings fan, but because I would have thought it was fun to be wearing the jersey of the guy who was on the field.

Of course, my parents wouldn't have let me do it at a game because it would have been a pain in the ass, but that's another issue.

Ditch teams that are losing, good grief.

I can understand changing allegiance when you move or adding a second team that becomes #1 over time.

But switching teams because of losing ?

It's like children's athletic events that don't keep score. Stupid! :mulli:
Does anyone really believe that the kids themselves don't know who won and who lost?

Funny thing is even though the kids know, they don't care as much as the parents do...

AZCentral interviewed him, and he said his son switched jerseys so the Vikings players would throw things at him. It's still not something I would do though.

This doesn't make any sense either. Why would a Cards fan want Vikings crap anyway?

And what about spending $60 bucks on a Vikings jersey to get some Vikings scrub to throw you a wristband. I'm missing something.

Am I the only one who doesn't understand this logic?
Nope, and what's more, where did he get the jersey to switch??? Did he bring two jerseys to the game with the intention of doing something that bastardly??? That is premiditation there and makes the crime all the worse.

Absolutely. I got screwed into playing on a baseball team like that once when I was little. When I told my father that the coach wouldn't let us know during the game what the score was he started yelling it out at the beginning and middle of every inning.:)

Well his father is wearing a ASU hat.. :D

Underneath it is a UofA hat.

AZCentral interviewed him, and he said his son switched jerseys so the Vikings players would throw things at him.

Perhaps he was acting as a decoy and hoping that Jackson would think he was a receiver and throw a pass out of bounds toward him.

Unfortunately, there was such a sea of purple there that day that the Vikes just decided to let Peterson run all over us, rather than risk Jackson being confused.

That guy SHOULD be excommunicated and possibly tortured. I don't care what the reason is, this is unacceptable. You should love your team NOT because they win or lose, but because they are yours!
One of the downsides of our team being in the Superbowl is that we are gong to be surrounded by fairweather idiots like this for awhile.

The US military has banned waterboarding, but we at ASFN have not
