Well, they aren't TERRIBLE, but they are quite bland. They look like 2nd rate Knicks jersey's, the color choice, the nickname, its all just... uninspiring, which I guess fits for Oklahoma City :p Ill be interested to see what Uni Watch has to say about these.

Thunder name = 7/10
Thunder logo = 0/10
Thunder unis = 0/10

Those involved in the logo and uniform design should be embarrassed. It's really unfathomable that they could mess this up so bad. They should have just handed the concept to Nike or Adidas to develop.

I probably shouldn't compare sports but the New York Jets uniforms seen this past Sunday were some of the worst I have ever seen. The colors were horrible. They looked like a bad batch of paint.

I don't mind simple unis. But the away jerseys look cheap..they just look bad with so many letters crammed in there, looks like a cheap city league jersey. I half expect it to have a mexican restaruant sponsorship on the back.

Probably should have gone with the OKC.

I do like the home unis with the effect of the lettering kind getting darker in the middle.

I know there's a trend to go back to retro style uni's with less logos and such but this went waaay too far. There's no life to it. I'm pretty sure a 5 year old with crayons, a couple sugar cubes and a blank wall could come up with something more interesting.

I think thats a little high, the Thunder name is so generic. What does Thunder have to do with Oklahoma City? You'd think with your first pro team, youd really want it to reflect your city (like ours did, the Suns, it makes sense). Plus I hate non plural team names, they sound so second rate.

The name, logo, colors, etc aren't terrible (like the Bobcats logo and colors, which are visual rape), but they're all just so generic that its annoying.

I thought the Thunder name was worth a C, average mark hence my 7/10. Definitely not as bad as the Wizards moniker.

On logo and unis: Thunder is an ominous and powerful sound. The word thunder makes me think of a storm. The colors I associate with it are dark blues, purples, grays, and of course black. Possibly yellow for lightning which is what actually makes the sound of thunder. Thunder is not light blue with orange and yellow. I realize colors don't have to reflect the name, but it seems necessary with some names.

Well the light blue on the road unis/in the logo is the color of the Oklahoma state flag, so I can kinda see why they went with that. It really seems to be the only thing color/logo wise that ties them to their locality.
