#Rams are said to love Carson Wentz. I'd expect he's the pick for LA

At least, for the Cards sake, Jeff Fisher gets to coach that #1 pick.

Seems llike a logical trade force both teams on the surface.. Rams desperately need a QB but have some good young talent, and Tennessee doesn't need a QB in a draft without a clear cut #1 pick and needs to acquire a lot more young talent.. definitely a good haul of high picks for Tennessee and if they really want a tackle a Taylor Decker/Jack Conklin type should be there at 15.

It's also a better chance of Paxton falling us if Keim thinks about taking him in the first.

And so it begins. Really shakes up the draft. Could be another crazy one this year!

I love playing in a competitive division. Great move by the Rams as long as it works out. I would go Goff over Wentz, but that is just me. I get the appeal of Wentz, but I just feel he has too many unknowns. They have Case to start right away, they have Gurley to pound the ball, and they have a decent defense.

I love competition, and this could make the Rams more competitive and push the Cardinals to get even better.

Basically 2 first round picks, 2 second round picks, 2 third round picks.

Yeah, I dont expect the Rams to be good anytime soon.

Titans made out like bandits. They have holes everywhere on the team and now have 6 picks in the first three rounds this season. Worth more than anyone they could've selected at #1.

As for Rams...umm...didn't you watch Washington fall face-first when you were on the other side of that trade?

And Exactly. It seems they didn't learn the lesson. Now let's just hope their pick busts :)

If I was the Rams I would of taken Lynch at 15 and kept the picks. That

is way too much to give up in my opinion. The AFC South just keeps

getting better except the Colts. Would you trade number 29 for picks

43 and 45? We could get say Nick Martin and another defender there.

What certainties are there at the outset of this draft now?

I'd have said Lynch to the Rams at 15 was one of them, but not now.

Bosa is going #4 to the Cowboys.
Goff was going to be a 49er but the Browns are now forced to take him #2.
The 9ers are hurt by this trade up by the Rams now they either have to reach for Paxton Lynch at #7 or they'll try to emulate the Seahawks success by going for someone like Dak Prescott in the 2nd out of desperation.

This also means the Rams ain't getting better ,this year. Wentz may be the real deal, but has too far to come in a short time to be a huge difference maker this year, and LA just gave up the farm in draft stock.

I don't think this affects the Cardinals pick late in the round, as all the teams involved here are shuffling offensive picks, and the Cards will be taking a defender in the first most likely.

My thoughts exactly. Giving up six picks for one pick? That's crazy talk. I think the only QB in the past ten years thats worth that many is Andrew Luck, and you better be able to hit on late round picks.

And as others have said, Jeff Fisher has proven that he doesn't get the most out of his talent. Whenever I watch the Rams, I can't help but think Arians would win with that squad.

Yeah, I could never justify giving up that much in trade for 1 player. Especially since this QB crop has several question marks. Unless it was someone like Peyton Manning or Andrew Luck, I just could never imagine it being worth that many picks. This was a no brainer for the Titans.

I get what you're saying but if he turns out to be great those picks traded mean little, that's the importance of a fabulous QB in the NFL. Now on the other end of the spectrum...we all know those ramifications.

Personally I think he's going to be a star & this puts the Lambs in contention in 2 years because they've got a great D & awesome RB.

And he might just be that good or close to it

But they will be stuck in the position that they will have to pay virtually every good player on their team AND hit on all their remaining picks.

If you look at the Rams they have major holes throughout their roster and trading the farm to draft a highly unproven QB is extremely risky.

A great QB makes a team better & IMO there's not a price on that. We shall see but this gives them the chance to be much better instead of mediocre. Just look at how good the Hawks became with just the drafting of Wilson.

This move makes me nervous. Wentz has an excellent football mind....even Fisher may not be able to screw up this kids head.

it will be interesting now.....as other teams try and jockey in the draft to recover

But you don't have to pay SIX PICKS to get that guy. Look at the good-great QBs in the league, and what you will see is that you don't have to spend the #1 overall to get that guy.

This is a flat out desperation move made by a horrible coach-gm pairing that are close to getting axed, and a horrible owner who mismanaged every sports franchise he's owned.
