Do you guys remember any Sierra games?

The Ultima series was pretty awesome. So were Police Quest, Kings Quest and the Leisure Suit Larry games.

In fact, they have a new version of Kings Quest out now for digital download (at least on the PS4 and PC). I played the trial and the humor is hilarious.

that game was soooooo bad even as a kid. I remember being stuck in one area always and not being able to do anything at all.

I think kings quest went to xbox too along with another game that the name is escaping me.

lots of good memories of hacking into my dads leisure suit larry game as a kid, figuring out that if I turned porn on the pimps tv he would move from the stairs and then I would never have rubbers so after getting the hooker my unit would always explode after i snuck out of the **********.

Roger Wilco and Space Quest!

Quest for Glory

Also was big into SSI games when they ran with the Dungeons and Dragons license:
Champions of Krynn
Eye of the Beholder
Pools of Radiance
and of course, a game I spent HOURS on:
Unlimited Adventures

How could I forget Space Quest? Loved that one too.

One of these days I will get around to this fully, but I bet if you asked me for a top 10 list each week for a year, the list would be different.

I can tell you a few that absolutely belong no matter.

In no particular order

1. Super Mario Bros
2. Super Mario 64
3. Legend of Zelda
4. Shenmue
5. The Last of Us
6. Resident Evil 4

I played the hell out of this game as a kid. I'm talking countless hours of using my damn neck to get out of the hole. I never knew any better.

That's why I didn't do it. I listed my favorites and then tried to narrow it down to 10. I couldn't do it. Plus, as you stated if you asked me the same question later...it would probably look different.

In no particular order, I dont know if I would say all time, like others have said the list would be fluid, but this is off the top of my head.

Tecmo Super Bowl
FF7
Gran Tourismo
Mariokart
Diablo
NBA Jam
Halo 3
COD Black Ops2
Assassins Creed
World of Warcraft
Aztec Challenge (if anyone remembers this one or played it I will be super impressed lol) Totally hokey game, but me and my brothers and sisters used to all take turn playing this for HOURS. Good old Commodore 64 :)

I did this just as my personal top 10 not like what I think the top 10 best games of all time.. Most of these just have sentimental value.

Goldeneye, AVP, Doom, Duke Nukem, all the original FPS were great. :) I liked a lot of the original Splinter Cells and those types as well.

I told you the list was fluid. ;)

You must be registered for see images

There's a documentary on Netflix about the excavation of the game(as well as other Atari refuse) and it gives a history of the game. It's quite interesting and entertaining at the same time.

All the 2K sports games were better. That last football game they came out with was phenomenal compared to Madden. Unfortunately, Madden made sure that no other company would be making another NFL game anytime soon because...hey when you can't make a better game...get an exclusive license. They still make better basketball games.

The thing about NFL 2K5 that really pissed off EA was that while Madden was $59.95 2K5 was $19.99. The fact that it was a superior game was a bonus.

Hard to pack them into a top 10 but I'll try:

Silent Hill
Silent Hill 2
Silent Hill 3
Batman Arkham Asylum
Batman Arkham City
WWF Smackdown: Here Comes The Pain
Diablo
ESPN NFL 2K5
ESPN NHL 2K5
The Journeyman Project(PC)

These are games I've played for hours on end. There are more of course but these are the core games I've spent a considerable amount of time on. IMO the Silent Hill series is vastly overrated and quite creepy on it's own, especially SH2. Too bad the movies stunk.

Diablo was such a freakin great game. I enjoyed D3 as well it just didn't hold up, was one of those I loved it then I was over it 2 days later.

I also loved Arkham Asylum but full disclosure, I got stuck somewhere like halfway through that game and I just quit playing, lol. Will have to play again sometime. That game was really fun.
