Sources: Miami will send two future second-round picks to Memphis as part of 3-team deal, although one is heavily protected.

Miami will send Chris Andersen to Memphis in deal too, sources tell @TheVertical

ESPN sources say Hornets and Rockets have discussed a potential Dwight Howard-to-Charlotte trade but have not managed to find workable deal

Sources: If Frye deal to Clippers goes through on Wednesday, Stephenson would never play a game for Orlando. Magic will waive him.

Joe Johnson is expiring right? I'd love to send them Kieff/Knight and get back JJ, Hollis-Jefferson and their unprotected 1sts in 2020 & 2022. That would be three unprotected picks in a row when you include Miami's.

I'd make that trade. I don't know that it would interest them but maybe if we get it in before they hire a real GM?

After the Celtic trade debacle I'm sure they're hesitant to give up more unprotected picks but worth a shot lol.

It's so quiet on the trade front I can hear the crickets chirping. So far, no significant trades that I am aware of. Maybe this goes down to the final minutes. I'm thinking minimally the Suns want to assist in making trades happen with some spin-off benefits.

Suns are delusional. They should take any pick they are offered and run.

My cats have a saying, act like prey and you are prey. Okay, they don't actually say it but they live it. Act like you're dealing from a position of weakness and you are dealing from a position of weakness. I think we've wanted Stanley Johnson and a pick all along and are trying to play hardball with Detroit. Maybe it won't work but I think it's worth the effort especially if they (Suns management) have a fallback position they can live with.

Maybe swap picks using the Cleveland pick.

Markieff isn't worth more than an unproven young player who isn't being used and a lottery protected 1st. If the Suns think they can get more than that then they're delusional.

Perhaps. I think there's a good chance that pick is probably in play right now whether it's in that deal or another. My fantasy is Tucker plus the Cleveland pick for Shabazz and their pick although if something like that happened it might include a Rubio for Knight swap too or maybe a Pekovic for Chandler swap.

That Wolves trade would be sweet. I think the Cleveland pick may be reserved for Shabazz.

What happened to the Terrence Jones scenario? The Rockets have stopped using him (his minutes were down even before his concussion). Unfortunately the Rockets owe this year's first-round pick to Denver (http://basketball.realgm.com/nba/draft/future_drafts/detailed), so I don't know how they'd sweeten the deal.
HOU may have shifted their interest as they are listening to offers for Howard that might net them a much better PF than Morris.

I agree. He's got a enough talent to win a couple garbage games the rest of the season, however, that hurts the organization more than helps. If I were the front office i would tell the media that we are receiving lots of offers but holding out for a pick an a good young player. And then at the deadline I would take the best pick offered and wash my hands of him.

There is talk of the 76ers gauging the interest in Jahlil Okafor. If true, I would like the Suns to explore this thoroughly.

I don't want Dwight but we do have the pieces to make it work:

Morris, Knight, a prospect/pick for Dwight
or
Morris, Chandler, a prospect/pick for Dwight

Pick up Dwight and then give him to our med staff the rest of the season. No playing. This is where players come to resurrect their bodies and lengthen careers. Dwight is young enough to have good years left is his body gets right. Just a thought.

Given how the NBA is trending I would not want to put major money into a center like Dwight.

Dwight already left the Lakers which cost him money, what makes you think he would even stay here? He can opt out this offseason.

Unless it is Morris, Chandler for Dwight I would pass.

Now Jahlil Okafor would be more interesting but I would not give up our pick, Booker or Warren for him. I'd do Knight/Goodwin/Morris/Rights to Bogdan a/Cavs2016 for Okafor/Landry/Stauskas.
???
Warren
Booker
Bledsoe

I don't want Dwight. Why do they want to trade Okafor? Lack of defence or other reasons? Seems strange to me.
