Im hoping Tucker gets dealt...Or Chandler

I am too but it makes little sense to just give them away and a 2nd round pick is the same as giving them away (for us). Tucker is the heart and soul of this team and as much as I complain about him, he's still a great role player. It's not his fault that our coaches keep trying to use him as something more than "role player". And Chandler apparently still wants to be here. If we just dump them, we'll take another PR hit for very little gain.

I'm so sick of watching BK. If a team wants Chandler or Tucker they should be required to take on Knight. At this point I believe his value is just gonna get worse.

Oh, I don't think that's possible. I guess he could come down with some incurable and highly communicable disease or something like that? But I can't imagine his play getting any worse.

He can start complaining or whining about minutes or something like that. So far he hasn't said anything and has maintained professionalism but if he start bitching even if its privately about minutes or role on the team or something like then his value would certainly dip some more.

I feel the same and this is why I wouldn't mind trading one of the Miami picks (after we add a lotto protection to it) just to get rid of him.

I hate that he takes minutes away from Ulis.

Don't care about any "PR hit"...Dont care if Tucker is "heart and soul"...

If Tucker isn't dealt by the Thursday the Suns get zilch...Then he hangs around to mess with our draft.

Don't care if Chandler wants to be here either. If the right offer comes along he needs to go to.

You kind of missed the point. I agree, right offer, adios Tucker and Chandler. But if all we get is zilch, the PR hit isn't worth it. We don't need any more second round picks or expiring contracts. Maybe a second round pick if they take Knight but otherwise, we need a young player that has some up-side (a Stanley Johnson type) or a first round pick.

Especially with Tucker though...McD should take a second rounder if that means moving him. He's good enough to affect our draft and he's done after this season anyway. If he gets a first rounder then good but move him!

I guess Watson loves Chandler and all that so whatever...

A 2nd round pick is worthless from a playoff team.

And Tucker wants to retire in Phoenix, he wants to re-sign here. That does not make it exactly easy to deal him.

Even if we trade him he might want to re-sign here in the offseason.

No trades for the sake of making a trade. I would like to see us do something though because we won't be able to hold off the Lakers or kings for that 2 spot

Andre Drummond is reportedly unlikely to be traded on deadline day.
Drummond's name has popped up in the rumor mill as the deadline approaches, but Stan Van Gundy maintains he hasn't had any meaningful conversations with any other opposing GMs on the trade front regarding a Drummond deal, so it seems unlikely that the Pistons will send him away during the first year of his five-year, max deal.

Why would you waste a potentially great pick (or any asset, for that matter) to dump Knight? Suns could just as easily wave him. They are not in any kind of a salary cap hell. Some other team would pick him up and pay a small portion of the remaining salary.

I would like to trade PJ. That's all that really HAS to happen IMO.

Well why don't we hang his number from the rafters too? I mean you guys want to extend all the courtesies in the world for our bottom dwelling Suns team...By all means!

Gambo just came on the radio and is saying the following:

1. 7 or 8 teams are trying to negotiate for Tucker including the Spurs.
2. Suns are kicking the tires on Paul George and Jimmy Butler. Nothing serious, just due diligence.
3. Paul George and his agent are telling teams not to bother trading for him because he is going to the Lakers in 18 months.

Gambo just spouting the same nonsense that everyone does about all the FAs wanting to play for the Lakers.

George was recently on record saying that he wants to compete for a title more than he cares about anything else. I doubt he goes to the Lakers when their one of the furthest teams away from that in the entire league.
