I wonder how Monroe suddenly became a max. player after having 6 good games in a row.

It's also a suprise that some posters would be ready to give the half of the Suns for him which means we would be totally out of the hunt for the PO.

I understood the doubts toward Bledsoe whether him being that kind of cornerstone that can get a contract that he did but I do think that regarding Monroe the same issue is even more legit.

I would also be concerned about giving up a lot for a player that seems to be "situationally motivated."

Goran Dragic | PHO
(January 9, 2015 1:27 PM EST)
The Rockets are reportedly looking to make an upgrade at the point guard position, and they have expressed interest in Goran Dragic and Deron Williams (ribs).
Williams is injured and given his ridiculous contract, it would be difficult to orchestrate a trade in which they weren't giving up too much, making Dragic a much more likely target. Dragic had his coming out party while playing for head coach Kevin McHale, and him leaving the crowded rotation in Phoenix could be viewed as a good thing, while it would really hurt the value of Patrick Beverley. Things are in the rumor stages right now, but this will be something to monitor moving forward.

Totally agreed. I wouldn't give him much more than the Morris twins got and even then I don't think he's a great fit. I don't care who's pulling down the rebounds as long as the team is doing it. This team just needs to learn to put bodies on people. Let the guards rebound for all I care.

I don't know how we keep him at this point, but I will be extremely upset if/when Goran Dragic is traded or signs somewhere else. I like the Goran Dragic & Eric Bledsoe backcourt. I'm not the biggest fan of the three point guards, especially when you've also got Green and then young guys like Goodwin, Warren, and gulp even Ennis not sniffing the court.

I know they need to move some people, but I am just not sure what I actually want them to do. I know I don't want them to spend maximum money on Greg Monroe though.

I think Deron Williams is more than likely to get traded to the Houston Rockets. I mean why would the Phoenix Suns make a conference foe even more stronger?

The Rockets may want to deal with the Suns to get back Goran but Saver isnt making that mistake again. Goran is here to stay.

I love Dragic but if you can get a legit young big for him I would have no problem with it. Trading him for a 2 guard and SF for example, doesn't excite me one bit. Does anybody on Houston fit the bill? I have not kept up with them one bit this season.

Yeah, everybody is going to assume that because the Suns have 3 quality PGs they can steal one of them for garbage. There are going to be a lot of rumors involving the Suns leading up to the deadline.

Saver's not trading Goran for Anybody. Period!!!

Now, he would gladly give up another PG of a different name.

I think trading Green (and maybe Thomas) can have a Detroit Pistons post-Josh Smith type impact on the Suns.

I honestly think the ball moves around a lot more without Green who is playing selfish to stat pad for his new contract.

Not enough. Morris twins are even worse than Green (except that they do pass to each other), and even our point guards, Bledsoe and IT are selfish (though nowhere near Green's level.) Tucker is a bit selfish at times as well. Trading Green and IT isn't gonna be enough.

That confrontation with Hornacek, and all the T's have really soured me on the twins.

I agree. We do need to remember that Markieff is statistically, a GOOD power forward on a decent contract. I would think he would be easy to trade, but I would not trade him for anyone who isn't clearly a better player.

I think your underestimating Green's selfishness. And I think Bledsoe's more stupid than selfish even though he is also selfish some. But Bledsoe at least makes up for it in other ways sometimes (rebounding & defense).

Tucker is also another guy who I think is more stupid than actually selfish.

When I say stupid, I mean low basketball IQ, just making that clear so no one accuses me of calling out these guys on another level.

I think sending Green and IT away for a starting caliber PF would do wonders for our team.

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=l67yw5u

I would even throw in our own pick with protections to make this work. We literally get rid of all the main ball hogs on this team. Not to mention guys like Dunleavy can actually help this team now.

Add in trade rights to Bogdanvich. If Markieff isn't professional enough to keep this from affecting his play, then ship his ass out too. But I think he should be fine with it.

I've never heard of Crossmap.com but I came across this....
Los Angeles Lakers Trade Rumors: Phoenix Suns' Goran Dragic Being Eyed as Point Guard for the 'Lakers', As Superstar Kobe Bryant Faces Possible Trade Block This 'NBA Season 2014-15'.

Why is 'Lakers' in 'Quotes,' and don't we already know of their 'Potential' interest in 'Either' Dragic or 'Bledsoe'?

The Denver Nuggets are receiving trade interest in Arron Afflalo from the Miami Heat, Los Angeles Clippers and Charlotte Hornets.

The Nuggets acquired Afflalo last offseason from the Orlando Magic and is on an expiring contract.

After trading away Timofey Mozgov, the Nuggets are essentially conceding the season and looking to turn existing players into long-term assets.

I wish the Suns would cut the crap with the small ball stuff and get a true SG like Aaron Afflalo. He'd be the perfect fit next to either Bledsoe or Dragic.

Afflalo has a player option next season so I think he will look to free agency. Also he is age 29 which is not old but the Suns have said they want to build with a young group of players. Also the Suns have Bogdan Bogdanovic waiting in the wings. I'm not against the Suns going after a SG but they need to clear some players to do it. The Suns do need more shooting.

I'd trade one of the 3 PGs.
