So Goodwin, Warren, Ennis and Randolph are all in the doghouse? They must be irreplaceable practice players since Jeff won't let any of them go jammin in Bakersfield.

That's interesting, I guess Boston will then move Smart to his natural position, SG.

Nate Robinson does have experience playing in Boston before as well I believe.

I've never heard of Crossmap.com but I came across this....
Los Angeles Lakers Trade Rumors: Phoenix Suns' Goran Dragic Being Eyed as Point Guard for the 'Lakers', As Superstar Kobe Bryant Faces Possible Trade Block This 'NBA Season 2014-15'.

I think some of these sites write articles about popular subjects just to get people to visit their site as a result of a google search.

Ha! Ainge is copying the Suns! Robinson and Smart is about as close as you can get to Thomas and Bledsoe.

There are rumors floating around with no substantiation, the Lakers might be interested in trading Lin to a team like the Suns. If this were true, Bledsoe might be a likely target. I'm sure the Suns would want much more in return including removal of the protection of the Lakers first round draft pick the Suns own.

That makes no sense. Both the rumor and the fact that it is coming from ChristianToday.com.

Again, sites that have nothing to do with sports putting up sports articles with popular names just to get google traffic. Its nothing. Rule of thumb. If it isnt good enough to make hoopshype.com, its bogus. Even if it makes it, it might be bogus, but definitely if it doesnt.

Lin has no business in Arizona. We have 4 pg's better than him.

That would have made sense before the Brandan Wright acquisition, but now the backup C/PF position is covered.

I don't think the Suns collected all those guards and small forwards to stay put. The Lakers have the ability to take on Bledsoe's contract so there is that. Maybe there is something to it, maybe not. Brandon wright is a nice piece but by no means is he the major trade I have been waiting to happen. I do think a major trade is coming. What the Lakers could offer the Suns in regard to need is questionable except an expiring contract with Lin, removal of their first pick draft protection and perhaps a player like Randle or Hill.

I don't, but we'll know soon enough. I just don't see the Suns as having a lot of major-trade assets. Len is now the best asset on the roster, and the Suns aren't giving him up; none of the PGs has distinguished himself; and the Morrises, while proving that they can be productive, are looking more and more problematic.

The only kind of trade I could see would be something like Green, Thomas, and a pick for a larger-salaried SG who has worn out his welcome. Lance Stephenson could probably be had, for example, not that I'd want to see him in Phoenix. Afflalo has been mentioned, but he doesn't really do it for me. Tyreke Evans might be a possibility. There just aren't a lot of available players out there who are good enough to qualify as "major" trade targets.

Perhaps you are right but I still think McDonough will make another move of significance. The Suns do have the Lakers first round pick plus their own to sweeten a trade for the right player. Plus the Suns have some young talent to trade, one of their rotation PGs and some quality filler pieces.

If we trade for a player, they need to be smart, skilled, and team oriented.

Is Tim Duncan available?

I think you hit the nail on the head there. There aren't that many good players out there that can be had via a trade, and if there were, the Suns don't really wouldn't have the assets to acquire them.

Morris brothers are hurting their value with their behavior, the three point guards are hurting the values of the other two because not one of them is really able to shine, Plumlee and Green have regressed. Nobody is going to give up assets for Dragic when they can get him outright in the summer. Young players are not getting a chance to play, so they have very little value.

IT's contract is not terrible, and some team might be willing to take a chance on Bledsoe, but they aren't gonna give up a whole lot to get him.

Where? This is the first time I've seen the Suns mentioned as a definitive possible landing spot for Jeremy Lin.

The other sources seem to have taken their information from the christiantoday.com upon further review. So take it for what it is worth.

Now, that I agree with. There will be no major trade, but a significant trade doesn't need to be a major trade. Getting rid of a point guard (or two) and getting a good shooting guard and/or a PF would be significant, though not necessarily major.

I don't need a big name like Love, Anthony or Bosh to make a trade major or significant as long the Suns get the right player long term that will make them a much better team.

Sometimes "losing" a trade is actually a win. I remember when the Suns traded Gilliam for Rambis. I was so disappointed. But the team was better for it.

Getting did of IT and ideally Green would be a major addition by subtraction imo.

It could lead to a potential post-Josh Smith Pistons type effect on the Suns.

Might be time to sell high on the Morrii, after Kief's big game.

It will take more than one but that could happen if we feed him like we did in this game (Cleveland).

Incidentally, IT and Kieff combined for a 'pinch post' play - accidentally, no doubt - the defense got a little befuddled and Kieff got a wide open jumper from the elbow.
