Last three teams I've spoken to convinced Denver WILL get first-round pick it wants for Arron Afflalo and think it's coming from Portland

Wolves' asking price for Gary Neal at present is a second-round pick. (Hawks have both their own and Toronto's, in case you're wondering.)

Gambo just said that Boston is not interested in neither IT nor Dragic. He said that he knows because "lets just say a birdie told me".

Eliminate Boston.

He also said "Dragic will not resign with Sarcramento".

We all know who that Birdie is there too.

I don't buy it anymore. Even if he and Sarver are buddies, the leaks to Gambo stopped after McD got hired. He has been blind sided by just about every move we've swung in the last few years.

I'm going to laugh when the Suns make zero moves before the deadline, just like last year.

I am not talking about Sarver.

Looks like Dragic is seeking to have his brother come along to his new destination.

Good lord, they're as bad as the Morrises. I'm on good terms with my brother, but we don't need to follow each other to every damn job destination.

Well, OKC looks like they are working to acquire Brook Lopez

And Portland picking up Aarron Affalo

So the West is just getting tougher. What's your move McD?

If he's smart he's trading everyone IT's age and older so that we can start the re-build with our young guys. Pick up a couple of big guys in the draft and work from there.

The thing is, time is running short unless he is juggling multiple trades at one time.

Sure. There's no way they trade all of them now but I'd move towards that goal. I could have stated my goals differently though as the biggee for me is that they don't make any shortsighted deal designed to improve our playoff hopes this season.

DING DING DING. You nailed it Steve. There is no shot at a title for this season. The team needs to make moves that shore up the longer term prospects of the team.

Too bad the Suns could not trade with Houston for the Pelicans first round pick and Donatas Motiejūnas. I would be ecstatic and the Suns would have the best of both worlds.

OKC getting Brook Lopez, just in case there was any doubt that OKC would pass us in the standings regardless.
