Damian Lillard might be my favorite non Suns player in the league. He can just play. I can't remember seeing a scoring PG carry his team like he does with success. The Blazers have made the playoffs each year since Aldridge left and everyone wrote them off at that point.

Just saw Brandan Knight on the bench in a suit, has he been mentioned at all during the game?

I haven't heard any mention. It can't be a bad sign though.

Lillard drives for the game winner for the Blazers. I can be comfortable with a well fought loss.

The 5 second call really hurt the Suns chances.

Nice maturity at the end of the game by Lillard, taunting the fans.

Also, who really gives a sh*t, but Daniels WAS fouled on that last shot from beyond half-court....

For this season, it is the best possible outcome for the Suns to play well and lose.
I hope time proves that philosophy to be correct.

Why? Because the young Suns are being taught, "Just don't look too bad when you lose."

I missed the taunting.

I would have rather seen a win. The players need to get the positive reinforcement of playing hard. It's better to lose by 2 than to lose by 40, but they look the same in the standings.

I don't think we need to worry about this loss because the Suns almost had this game won. If it wasn't for the 5 second call, they might have. Nothing wrong with the effort.

Why would you be comfortable with that? They need to blow everything up. What a joke, letting the Blazers back into it. The Suns are destined to be a laughingstock.

:sarcasm:

lol... destined to be.

Great loss... the perfect type of loss all the tankers hoped for all season. Growth while still not screwing up our chance to add best possible talent in the draft.

Mind-boggling that y’all still don’t get it.

And yet... when the tankers said this at the beginning of the season... when they already knew what this team was... y’all were basically calling for fandom castration.

It's not realistic, nor productive, to hope that the Suns end the season on 30-game losing streak. They aren't good enough to win very many more games, regardless; might as well get rewarded on those rare nights when everything comes together.

There are seven other teams that aren't "good enough to win very many more games".

When the Suns started the season they had Bledsoe, Booker, Warren and Jackson and unknown expectations for Chriss and Bender.

A team should always be given a chance to win.

To start the season with the intention of losing would have been abhorrent.

Add in how the tankers still want players like Booker to be sat and early in the year they were calling for multiple trades to make the team worse. It's not as cut and dry as some people try to make it.

These are the perfect games to watch. See the guys develop and still get that L. Gotta have that patience.

I agree but I mostly watch the games live... win or lose.

As a Suns fan one has to be patient.
