Does anyone else get the impression that the Suns are pretty much done for now? If it is true that this is our complete training camp roster (which often runs up to 18+ players), then it means that this is a different direction than normal. No "bubble boys" trying to play their way onto the roster. My one question is if we were going to invite just one more player outside of our existing roster for camp - why another guard?

On the other hand, I can see where the Suns might be thinking that they have enough new faces to deal with without adding a bunch of other low caliber players that would just confuse things. I wish at least we had kept the rights to Marcin Gortat (who actually seemed like a decent fit) and had him in camp to try him out. Briant Grant is most definitely not a long term solution. For that matter, we are probably going to have to start thinking about a replacement for KT in a year or two. Best case scenario for him is if he is like PJ Brown, unspectacular, but untouched by age. PJ is one of the Hornet's most solid players year after year. At least none of Kurt's game is predicated upon athleticism.

Maybe they will target a big with the exception sometime during the year.

If a Suns-Spurs game seven happens in the Western Conference Finals, and Stephen Graham comes in and hits a game winner, I'll probably be a little upset.

I'd guess they are waiting to see how the process of backing up Nash works out before they make any moves.

As for the need for a project big man, it is obvious the Suns see something in Tischer that we don't. I'm with you in that I would have like to see a tall shot blocker like Lonnie Jones given that slot, but they may not think he has enough upside.

Stephen Graham might have received an invite if the Suns hadn't pick up Diaw and Jones. As it is, Diaw is the only outside guy on the team that is not considered a good outside shooter (at least so far) and the Suns seem obsessed with that. In any case, I'd be very surprised in Graham gets many minutes with the Spurs.

The Spurs got Stephen Graham for their camp......

They also added Jawad Williams.

I should be a Spurs scout, I think one of these guys might make the cut for the Spurs.

One name that is missing is Tyus Edney, he played very well for the Nuggets in Las Vegas. Must have determined that Europe may be best for him.

Luis Flores is also with Sacramento, I think he and House are almost identical in their style of play, Eddie's experience must have made a difference.
