that's a very odd thing to say. "Ambition is never content, even on the summit of greatness." --Napoleon

Nice quote.

Also, if he has five rings why does he sit in the nosebleeds?

OOOOOh, he meant the team he supports has 5 rings. See, I assumed because he said HE had 5 rings that he was a player, when in reality he doesn't have jack.

You guys have to realize that teams with a huge fan base (Steelers, Cowboys, Packers) will draw a lot of fans. I was asked about my "Steelers tickets" (they are really Cards tickets, right) by at least 5 people. Everybody wants to go with me or buy them off me.

The rest of the season . . . Brown, Falcons, Panthers, Lions, etc. . . . nobody asks me about.

Next season the marquee matchup of the year to see at the UOP Stadium will be Dallas and in 2009 it will be Peyton Manning and the Colts . . .

I guess it depends on where you were. Maybe 60/40. I couldn't swing a bat without hitting a Steelers fan.

The father/son combo a few seats down from me sold their tickets to Steelers fans. You can bet that I'm gonna give them an earful next time I see them. :p

I guy who I work with in Dallas flew to game with relatives from the Steel City. He talked trash to me all week at work, saying his Steelers would spank the Cards. I called him after the game to talk a little trash and naturally, he didn't answer. Most people outside of the Cards fans do not realize how well our defense is playing. Even he commented on our D. Next victim, THE LAMBS!!!

Yea the more I watch the game the more I think Rats is WAYYY OVEREXXAGERATING!

There are alot of steelrs fans but no where near like he made it sound!

It was that way when you first walked into the stadium. Once the game started it was about 70-30. Was plenty of noise by Cards fans.

On TV it looked like a sea of red with a few yellow fish swimming around here and there. Nothing more.

People who sell their tickets shouldn't be bashed, they bought 'em and they own 'em. Here's the bottom line, when the Cards start dominating on a consistent level, opposing fans won't wanna come because they know they're going to get humilated. Cards win=Stadium full of Cards fans.

It always looks worse at the beginning of the game because the home fans tailgate up until right before game time, whereas the visitors walk around the stadium and always come down to the railing to cheer their team at warmups. I'd say the stadium was 15% Steeler fans tops.

Now way. I was just looking at the crowd and it looks like its about 30% Steelers fans. Which is pretty much normal for them. They have the best traveling fans in football.

I was very impressed with the Steeler Nation. Good sports, too. From my encounters anyway.

Hell of game. GO CARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The North endzone upper deck where I sit ALWAYS has a boatload of enemy fans.
Steeler fans were generally cool - one 50 something guy got angry at me when I recited "paying 100 dollars for $15 tickets, $400 for airfare $200 for hotel - Mastercard - walking out of CArdinals stadium a LOSER: PRICELESS!".
I told him to back up - if I went to Heinz field in my Cardinals gear I would expect a LOT worse than what us AZ fans were giving Steeler fans.
They were SO smug at kickoff, at the 1/2 - 4th quarter - hahahahahaha.

I must have been in a weird section because most of the Steeler fans were the biggest jerks I've ever encountered so I'm kind of surprised that everyone keeps talking about how classy they were. I seriously almost got into 2 fights yesterday while I was minding my own business. BTW there was a pretty good fight a row down from me in Section 120. A Card fan and a Pitt fan vs. another Pitt fan. Security took FOREVER to get there to break them up.

I know some Steelers fans, some are really cool (except for the fact that they're Steeler fans). Some are obnoxious. I think that's the case for any team. What makes it worse coming from Steeler fans is that they have so much ammo in trash-talking because they have been so good for so long.

Seemed worse in the parking lot but once inside didn't seem that bad considering how many Steal-ers fans there are in the valley.

So look at it this way.

For everyone of us that went to the game meant that Steeler fan was left at home sobbing in his beer.

P.S.

What was truly disgusting was all the Little Ben fans who must have repeatly hit themselves in the face as a tribute to Benny. :)

There were several fights in our Endzone also with one Steeler fan getting the worst of it before SAFE broke it up and hauled them out...I really do not know what game some of these guys were at. There was easily as many Steeler fans as Cards fans which is why it was so loud non stop. Nidan should read before saying something is rubbish. I restated 50/50. I think some want to make it palletable since we won the game, that it was ok to have that many Steeler fans IN OUR NEST!!! I say BS to that...and I think there are several that have guilty consciences that weren't there and soldout that want to down play how bad it was. The Friggin cheerleaders come out in BLack...the Venders were dressed in Black and Yellow shirts...Give me a break!!! .It was a priceless win...but I think the bandwagon for the Cards or Matt or whomever that soldout so we had to put up with rude Steeler fans...should just give up there tickets and take there money. Those in my section will get an earful.

I'm repeating myself, but on my 60" LCD flat screen (watching in HD of course)...when the cameras panned the stadium...it sure looked like 80-90% were red Cardinal fans.

Keep in mind that the enemy colors ALWAYS stand out giving a "perceived" look that there are TONS of enemies in the stands. Probably because we don't expect to see "enemy" fans in home teams stadiums, and when we do...we are like... "What the hell is this?" lol

Don't get me wrong, I have no doubt there were thousands of Steeler fans there, but 50% of the stadiums capacity??? That would be like 32,500 Steeler fans. Surely that would be noticable both visually and audibly while viewing the game on tv.

Agree to disagree. lol

The Seats are RED....It would appear on TV ....as I have watched the game now after being there that it was alot of red. I stand by the 50/50 from what I saw. And yes either way....ALOT OF SO CALLED CARDS FANS SOLD THERE SEATS TO STEELER FANS....some are out of town and can't make every game....I understand that except that we have a large contingent of Hollywood MAtty USC lovers posing as Cards fans....If you don't want to buy all the way in....just stay home and let some real Cards fans buy the tickets. At the very least....don't give them to Steelers fans so you can make a huge profit...and then comeback and think we wont call you on it....

You are standing wrong, then.

There were NOT 32,000 steeler fans there. Not even close. maybe 16,000-18,000....maybe.

And they were all pretty quite walking out of the stadium after the game. :D

Also I was in section 118 and I think Rats % are way off due to anger. I'd say 70/30 Cards fans.
