I gotta say, whether they were Steelers fans or not it was very inspiring to see the stadium full and hear it loud. Yes, there was some enemy noise but watching it on t.v., that was one of the best 12th man games I've seen from the Card's.

I don't blame anyone for not drinking the Kool-Aid just yet but a couple of more wins like yesterday and the home crowd will be all red soon enough.

Again, my hat's off to those that were there. The team benefitted from your enthusiasm and presence.

I don't care how many other fans are there when we win. As a matter of fact, the more the merrier.

My section was about 80% Card fans, but for some reason I was surrounded by the 20%. I kept reminding them that they weren't playing Buffalo, and it was fun watching them sink lower and lower into their seats.

The Seats are RED....It would appear on TV ....as I have watched the game now after being there that it was alot of red. I stand by the 50/50 from what I saw. And yes either way....ALOT OF SO CALLED CARDS FANS SOLD THERE SEATS TO STEELER FANS....some are out of town and can't make every game....I understand that except that we have a large contingent of Hollywood MAtty USC lovers posing as Cards fans....If you don't want to buy all the way in....just stay home and let some real Cards fans buy the tickets. At the very least....don't give them to Steelers fans so you can make a huge profit...and then comeback and think we wont call you on it....

The seats are red argument doesnt fly rats because you cant see the seats in a full stadium. You certainly didnt see huge streaks of gray anywhere in the stadium which just proves my point.

That stadium on TV was VERY MUCH PREDOMINANTLY RED. Jw7 and nidan seem a much more accurate description of Steeler fans. Somewhere in the 20-25% range. Nowhere near 50.

I'm sorry but I don't care what anyone says. When my wife wanted me to take her and the kids to Seaworld and I was offered $200 a ticket for a $50 ticket then you should know what the decision was going to be. I love my team just as much as any of you but I was not going to pass up a chance to be with my family nor pass up a 400% profit.

Cry your tears to the NFL who charges full price for half ass preseason games.

I'm with you. I have four season tickets and only make a couple of games a year. The rest, i give out to friends, family members, clients etc... If their team is coming in to play, I give them the tickets. They're my tickets, and I will dole them out as I see fit. Although, I might sell some this year. Nothing wrong with that, IMO.

Yes Red that is your right but don't expect many of us to approve of it.

I for one wish they would make scalping illegal here as it is in Pa. That way at least it would shutdown the sale for profit.

50/50, 60/40, 70/30....it really doesn't matter....those numbers for our new stadium are way out of whack for a game and are disgraceful. If we go and play in other teams towns we get maybe 2500 fans...it is a joke that fans in this town want to stay with the team from where they came from and sell the tickets to the other games to the opposing teams fans....that is what is going on. We were suppose to build a Cardinal base of fans not a base of 70/30 or 60/40 in our NEW STADIUM. And for the record I do not fault any Cards fan(Clif) that spends time with there family and has other plans on gameday. It is the bandwagon that is the problem. They were not there at SunDevil....it was always full of the opposition because the tickets were easy to get. In our New Digs tickets should not be available for the opposition....Last season early was 90/10 Cards to opponent....as they lost the bandwagon started selling out like the sell outs they are....and we ended up with lots of opponent fans....point being There were far to many Steeler fans at that game. That can't be denied by those not there with a guilty conscience because they were called out. You deserve it!!! And the sweet part is that you missed what was one of the best Games the Cards have played since 98. Those that sold out....suck on that.

Not only did I make money off some Steeler fans from my tickets, I got to drive a van load of them from the airport to the Embassy Suites for $133. I hope like hell I get to take em back to the airport. It's the American way!

Who is this "us" you are talking about? Can't wait to read this answer.

yeah - making it illegal really curbs it..............................

this stuff is the same everywhere - a lot of season ticket holders are ticket brokers - there is an additional 3,000 seats per game that are for general sale - then you have people like me, I go in with a couple buddies on season tickets as I like football and get to see my seahawks (the other owners are a cards fan and a vikings fan - the cards fan went this past sunday fyi)

finally you have people who will sell their seats to make profit and ease the cost

i have no problems with any of it - when a team charges so much for tickets and doesn't provide breaks for things like preseason games it helps create a situation where people do what they need to do

also, with all the bagging on people selling their tickets - it's not like they hunted down steelers fans - cards fans could of just of easily bought those tickets on the open market if they wanted to watch this big game

this type of stuff happens everywhere - someone in another thread mentioned GB - guess what, GB fans sell their tickets as well - it's a little harder for come lately brokers to get in, but they still exist

it's just not as ripe as it is in other places - if you live in WI, you are probably a packers fans - people aren't moving into WI from across the nation at a pace that leads the nation - watch when the bears and vikings play there, you'll see plenty of "enemy fans"

in phoenix you had a great opportunity for brokers - a new 60k seat stadium, a fan base of existing season ticket holders about half that amount, the chance for a SB ticket and a large number of transplants

it will be a work in progress for you guys - but never eliminated

When our fanbase starts snatching up tickets instead of the other team, then there won't be a problem. There are more than enough people in the Valley to buy tickets on the free market and go to the game instead of opposing team fans.

Soon enough, Cardinal fans will pay the premium for single game tickets because they WANT to be at the game. Right now, opposing fans want to be their more than any of the Cards fans out of the 4 million people living in this metro area.

He yelled "back we got 4 rings count them!" then proceeded to count off 4 fingers .. lmao.. Those couldnt have been true steelers fans.. Bandwagoners at it finest..

you guys are making too much progress to be fighting about little things like this

i thought the environment at the games pretty much sucked last year - this year is seems to be completely different - fans are into it

say what you will about the SDS crowd, but the people who showed up really showed up and I respected the hell out of it

now some of that energy is starting to transfer to the newcomers

instead of yelling and fighting at each other work on the momentum and keep on building

instead of telling people what to do with their property, show up, support the team and make an environment that people want to be a part of

I think we all said it is was a Great win. The point is that we would like to have these Wins with a packed house for the Cards!!! We would like to not have to worry about being sucker punched by a sorry ass Cowboy fan like AzCard was last season when it was a 70/30 mix, or be berated and hauled out by police like Jstdvl was last season for supporting his team...vocally. Your going to have some other fans but it needs to be a low amount and I agree with Nidan that the scalping needs to be limited. You can't stop it but it can be less of a bad thing for the hometown teams fans. When the Steelers were up 7 nothing after that TD they were the most obnoxious group we have had in there....the great win is what saved the day in my opinion....had the team lost...everyone would be pissed over there fans and the fact that the "Bandwagon Hollywood lovers" sold out. Buy in or get off the train....simple.

We spent alot of time yelling at Cards fans last year in our section on how to act in the endzone.. Took some heat in the beginning for it but this year they are reacting how they should be acting.. I recognize some of the same faces around me last year were dumbfounded, but this year I turn around and to my sides and they are already cheering or dead quiet (for D or O)..

And a different note.. My stadium gf moved a few rows in front of me.. :( She was a good stadium gf.. She would bandage me when I was bleeding and the whole nine.. She didnt forget me though.. She stopped by to say hi yesterday...

yeah - first time I went to seattle I lost my voice yelling at other fans to start yelling

it also needed a corporate buyout to sellout the first game in the new stadium

now it's a tough ticket and insanely loud

it's become the thing to do and it's great

this is a football town thirsting for a winner and a reason to yell & scream - just flow with it and focus on getting cards fans excited

I knew it was going to take some time and whole lot of winning to stem the flow of opposing fans entering our house. But yesterday was a major bummer... Don't get me wrong, it was AWESOME and great fun to toss all of their **** right back at them, but the bottom line was that there were way too many Steeler fans. Way too many...
You would never see that sort of opposing representation anywhere else in the NFL...
I am amazed at the number of "Cards Fans" that sold out and gave there tickets to Steeler fans... No logic, excuse or rationale can explain this... It just sucks...
