In a completely unscientific poll of my dozens of family members and dozens of friends and acquaintances who are all warriors fans: 100% of the fanbase is 100% on board with everything that is currently taking place.

And, the biggest reason we love it is because it's a big F-you middle finger to both LeBron and the Lakers .

damn... inferiority complex much? You'd think after winning 3 of 4 titles, you might get over the LeBron/Lakers stuff.

Would you ever stop hating the Cowboys or Pats if cards were dominating? I sure wouldn't. Living in L A makes me hate the Lakers more. :D

The potential locker room drama for both LA and GS is very intriguing. I don't blame the Warriors for signing Cousins but I will be hoping that their meltdown is almost as dramatic as the one I'm hoping to see from the Lakers.

It's definitely a possibility. Too many chefs in the kitchen, but--somehow-- the combination of Myers and Kerr's ability to work and relate with players cannot be understated.

Cousins has also played with Durant, Thompson and Green on USA Basketball. The Warriors’ recruitment was led by Green, who has a strong relationship with Cousins, Durant and general manager Bob Myers, and it included positive phone calls between Cousins and coach Steve Kerr, league sources said.

Both Cousins and the organization understood the most critical time of the season — the playoffs — will be the stage in which Cousins shines the most for the Warriors.

The Warriors partly didn’t believe in Cousins’ interest initially, league sources said, but an agreement developed fairly quickly Monday after a few phone conversations with Golden State.

Well, well, well...it looks like all the other teams DUCKED the shark. Can't blame the dubs for 29 other teams taking a pass:

I think this is probably some of the most hilarious fan logic to hear this kind of nonsense. Only in sports do fans trash a company when they attract the best and top talent.

talk about nonsense.
in this case the "company" is the NBA and what the company sells is sports competition between 30 cities.
in this case, the "best and top talent" is undermining the company by forming their own monopolies that undercut the markets in every other city

if you believe this logic is "hilarious", i assume you'd prefer to get rid of every silly measure the NBA has in place to maintain parity and entertainment value across the league.

tell me, Loyalty,
do you support getting rid of the draft and salary cap
so that the biggest cities can "attract the best and top talent" without restrictions?

Nope...they need rules. Warriors working within the rules. 3/5 of their super team is homegrown talent, they earned their spot. Other franchises need to step up their game and some have. The Dubs were havenots for 40 years...let's not get all pissy because they turned their franchise around while others have not.

In this case, the ENTIRE league offered Cousins nothing, so he took the matter into his own hands.

When the collective bargaining happens, the rules will change and other teams will couple those rules with their smart moves to make it happen. Who knows, it could be the Suns.

The NBA has ALWAYS been dominated by 3-4 teams in any given decade and continues to grow as a league. Yet, many crow about how the league has "jumped the shark" or is "dying" and it's utter nonsense.

It's the same as it ever was.

Give me a break it doesn't diminish them at all.

Yes it does. In sports fans like an exciting match that is more or less even. Having all the stars on one team just makes the game boring, and it's too easy to beat up on lesser talented teams.

I'm impressed by the talent of individual players on the Warriors but they act like a bunch of douchebags and their winning doesn't impress me at all. Just boring irrelevant titles.

Let's see if the Suns can win 35 games thid year.

first you say it's illogical to "trash a company when they attract the best and top talent"
then you and 100% of your CA buddies trash the Lakers for attracting Lebron

indeed, Loyalty is a Curse

if you didn't react this severely when Durant moved then I don't see the point in the outrage over this. Durant joining OKC, was a cowardly move. An MVP joining a 73 win juggernaut that he just choked against in the playoffs.

Cousins is cancer coming off a devastating injury. IMO he doesn't move the needle, it's already redlining anyway.
